Sony Playstation 3 320GB PS3 Console Only (Renewed) [video game]

Just wow. I gave it almost 2 months of playing before review. I was skeptical of buying a 19 year old system especially used in the past. But I saw this renewed PS3 from the seller and saw a few negative reviews but most were only about coming with no cords which is expected because it’s in the description. PS3 came with not even a SPEC of dust. No signs of use at all. And it was easy to get Warrantee. Stays cool and quiet. No stutter. JUST PERFECT

Bought this for my fiance for his birthday so he could play Metal Gear Solid 4. He has been playing it nonstop now since it arrived and says the system works great. Thanks!

works great, it was super clean and barely had a scratch on it. found some good deals on ebay for new controllers and the Ratchet & Clank series so i have seven new games to play. honestly was kinda worried about a refurbished console mainly because of the hacks out there and horror stories of roaches and bed bugs found inside them but thankfully this one was super clean

I bought a PlayStation 3 from mega music exchange on the east side a year and a half ago, unfortunately I turned it on a few weeks ago and I got a pixelated green screen and I was unable to save my game data. I searched Amazon for a new PS3 and I was able to find one for a reasonable price through Amazon renewed; it came with a 90 day warranty. It arrived on time and in excellent condition. it didn't come with controllers or other accessories, I had a controller and power cord from the old ps3 and I was able to plug it in and play madden 25 right away. this ps3 is loaded with Netflix which I plan to activate very soon when I get time as I spend most of my time at work. Thank you CaveGamers and Amazon, I had a choice between Amazon or the local electronic store here in west allis that sells PS3 consoles, I will definitely be purchasing games through amazon, thank you for your great customer service!

AS others have also stated, refurbished was poorly done, after having it on in a 20oC environment temperatures of this PS3 refurbished consoled soared up to 80oC touching the power supply was like almost like touching a 100oC hot kettle, the console is also very dusty all over and inside the ports and vents. Go figure it would get hot. I used to think refurbished meant clean out and replacement of parts to get it to work like brand new, in fact that's the meaning of it, but seems like a lazy job is all. The bright side is it did turn on, but feel like its durability will wane fast with that dust and heat build up but not to mention the disk drive was very gritty and seem to not be smooth on disks. This would be a good console in a very cold country where all your library is digital. It has no controller, no power supply, and no HDMI cable it's just bare PS3 slim console with model - Cechy 2501B. That's the same model where CMOS battery is on the motherboard, and you will have to do some serious pro digging into the console just to replace it, figured nah I'm not keeping this for almost 250 dollars I might've kept it if it was $50 then I could spend 200 to fix it up properly. Appearance-wise Sony did a rough job on the PS3, it's ugly and what it should've been was all silver and either shiny like chrome or satin silver dry fingerprint resistant casing and filled with better internal hardware for cooling function. I wouldn't say value for money on a refurbished console is good at 245 dollars give or take including shipping but like many of you since the PS3 store is closing down I wanted to own one so I could buy some games, but then again since Sony are phasing out physical media I no longer want any digital games to go with this console. My best advice is if you are a rich professional fixer, you can get these consoles refurbished and fix it up yourself, if not then it's better to just either emulate them on pc or get a brand-new console if you can and see if you can hunt some physical media down because the PS3 and Vita stores are closing forever and digital won't be available on the PS3 anymore neither will the online mode work.

Looks like it was brand new it outside of a small scuff on the top. Was not expecting it to come with an HDMI and power cable after reading other reviews. Also came with a controller as well. It's been working great no issues so far. Thank you to Port Hole Renewed.

Yeah it plays and works well

I tried to start the ps3 and it will not start properly. It’s just alternating static and a red page that shows the setup page but won’t let you interface with it. Machine looked clean and taken care of but is no good. Wasted money.
