Cross Stitch Patterns From 1730 Paperback – November 27, 2015

I liked the book, always looking for cross stitch books for inspiration......

The patterns are pretty but with the darker page background they're hard to read.

On some pages in certain spots, it's hard to see what the pattern is. I can't tell if it's due to poor printing of the book or if it's in the original pattern. It looks like this book is printed on demand by Amazon but if it's part of the pattern that is missing, I would have expected the author to fill in what's missing.

Love the patterns, however, a little disappointed that the pages the patterns are printed on are so dark. Ordered the other books, as well.

Not worth the money! The pages look like they have been copied over and over again from copies on a bad copier. Many are too dark or blurry to read. It's a shame because some of the motifs are very pretty.

This is very handy for copying onto cards or my tapestry work. A good selection of stylish syles as one would expect from the rich in 1730. I use the patterns for all sorts of things, even for adding images to my watercolour paintings. Very pleased to own a copy. Easy to use and handy to keep on the shelf for next use.

Das Heft ist eigentlich nicht schlecht; es sieht nur so aus, als habe man ein altes Buch fotokopiert und neu gebunden. Die Seiten sind sehr dunkel, so dass sich die Muster nicht sehr gut abheben. Ich sammle Handarbeitsbücher und arbeite nicht unbedingt damit. Es wäre also höchstens zu versuchen, eine Fotokopie oder ein Foto so zu bearbeiten, dass der Hintergrund heller wird. Ansonsten wäre es ein ziemlich anstrengendes Arbeiten. Ergo für jemanden, der danach sticken will nur bedingt zu empfehlen.
