It didn't fix why my washer wouldn't spin ended up being the motor

There isn't much to say about this product because it's a plastic switch.It's not meant to be pretty, its just meant to fit and work correctly..which it does. As a bonus, delivery was fast.

I compared both my old part and this one and could not tell the difference, looks oem to me. this part will break again due to design and the way we slam the lids.... Installation- Remove front panel, to remove take a dull knife like a butter knife or thin strong object and slide it into the seam between the top and front panels, you can see the clip if you look closely , its about 4" from the sides. push in on it with the knife and the front should snap forward, lift upward off the Botton clips. then with the lid up remove the Phillips screws, unplug the old one and reverse the process.

Exact replacement for Kenmore 2661532412. Worked perfectly to fix my faulty lid lock switch. Images show old part on left, new part on right.
