The Chocolate Butcher/Extra Dark Chocolate Rough Cuts/Chopped for Snacking, Melting and Charcuterie Boards

The packaging is cute and to the point, I absolutely love the aesthetic that is achieved here.As for the Chocolate, I ordered 4 bags of Dark (70%~), one bag of Milk Chocolate (54%~).I received 4 bags of Dark Chocolate and 5 bags of Milk Chocolate as well as a hand-written note from the company thanking me for my business and rewarding it with additional chocolate. My wife and I tried the Dark and Milk chocolate for flavor and both are pretty good. I will say that the Milk chocolate has a slight edge here due to it's super warm and comforting sensation paired with the delightful snap not usually present in milk chocolate. This is quality stuff.For it's maiden voyage in my kitchen I used about 13oz to produce and Dark Chocolate Ginger Cake with a glistening ganache. The chocolate melts into a beautiful textured and gleaming mixture that when added to a few tablespoons of butter became the perfect ganache. I'd give these folks 10*s if I could.

My local health food store has discontinued the dark chocolate coins I love. Was hoping these would replace them. Chocolate itself doesn't have much flavor. There is a lot of squashed chocolate debris at the bottom of the bag - maybe like shavings. The pieces are fun to eat as they are interesting sizes/shapes. Like they were carved off a block of chocolate. They came very nicely packaged, so no damage or melting. But I don't like the taste enough to buy them again. Will likely bake with the last of the second package to use them up. (I eat a little dark chocolate in the mornings in place of coffee, so this was a "for eating" purchase).

We have all heard that chocolate is good for you but finding a decent tasting high cocoa count chocolate has been hard for me to find. My search is over! This chocolate is delicious! I especially love the way it's packaged. If I open a candy bar I feel compelled to eat the whole thing. This chocolate is packaged in small pieces so I can have just 1 to satisfy my chocolate craving (or maybe 2). The bag easily seals back up and the chocolate stays fresh. I highly recommend this product, if I could give it 10 stars I would!I just received a recent order. The packaging was fantastic! It arrived in perfect condition even though we are in a heat wave. This company clearly takes pride in their product and customers.

First of I am a design fan, these packages of chocolates are great I barely even want open them, evocative of American classic shipping worldwide and international packaging from the days of cloak and dagger, noir and intrigue, a real coup, especially when ordered with the ease of the Amazon Prime mobile app. Delicious chocolate pairs well with your favorite movie or great for baking classic cookies. The smaller quantity order packages are just too adorable for words and they are vacuum sealed for perfect freshness.

I love the chocolate. I eat it as a snack food (as if I were eating potato chips!). I only like and eat dark chocolate and I am very picky about what dark chocolate I will eat. They are not all created equally. The Chocolate Butcher makes a fantastic chocolate! I wish I could be more specific as to what exactly makes it such a great dark chocolate, but I cannot. I just know how much I enjoy the taste.

Excellent product and excellent service..they packed it so well it didn’t melt despite the 90 degree Texas heat. I don’t have a sweet tooth, so the 70% extra dark chocolate is perfect for me. The chips are great to dip in peanut butter, put in a coffee or to melt and put on a crepe. Btw, this is the first review I’ve written. It’s that good!

Not sure what the rating "warmth" means. You mean "how good you feel when you eat it" ..? huh? This chocolate was excellent. I would even munch on them once in a while.

Enjoyed the chocolate but a tad too bitter for my taste. Packaging was excellent.
