Great little stocking stuffer. This bottle opener works like a charm. Just make sure to follow the instructions to rest the bottle on a flat surface. I would recommend the purchase.

I host a small craft bottle soda review podcast, aptly titled The Soda Review Podcast, and I realized I don't have a reliable go to opener. I had mostly been using the one that came attached to my mini fridge or the friggin' can opener, so I thought it was time to graduate to something a bit more formal. I was skeptical of Pop-The-Top at first be decided to give it a try. My maiden voyage wasn't the model of perfection, but once I understood the nuance and followed the guide, I was pretty impressed with how well this product works, under the right circumstances. You really do need to have the bottle on a flat surface, almost firmly held in place with a pewful, rapid stroke. The caps really do stay pristine and using Pop-The-Top feels and looks pretty cool too. A definite recommendation. Even if it doesn't pop the top on the first try.

Where's all my Fallout fans! As we all know, the apocalypse is upon us, and those that survive will want as many caps as possible for when they inevitably become the currency of the new world. This nifty device allows you to remove them from your bottles with no damage or warping! Kidding aside, it works as advertised, and works very well. My only gripe is that it lacks a magnet to catch the cap as it comes off. Not a deal breaker, and not worth a star off since it does not advertise itself to do so (this was an oversight on my behalf). If that is something that matters to you, be sure to find one that has that feature; they are usually a little more expensive. Otherwise, it really doesn't make that much difference, you just have to be sure to catch the cap on your own. Also, as a tip, I suggest putting the bottle on a counter or table to use this. When I use it in my hand, often the cap doesn't come all the way off. This is also how the company suggest it be used. Photo to show off what I do with my undamaged caps!
