Philips Monster Vent TMV-3P Brush Reinforced Bristles 3-1/2" Diameter

I had this brand (Phillips) brush for many years but it was worn out from 10+ years of use. Mine had a wooden handle but otherwise is pretty much the same. I've been using it for a few weeks now and love this new one too. It's definitely for long hair only. This brand does have different sizes if you have shorter hair.

Makes hair shiny!

I have been using this brand because it is sold at the hair salon where I get my hair color, excellent brand.

Since my favorite hairbrush has been discontinued I've been looking for an alternative. The largest barrel on this brush creates more frizz than volume and the paint chipped all off the wood after 2 uses. 2 stars only because it's possible a smaller barrel would perform better. I have long straight fine hair.

This brush had grip on thicker and curly hair which I really like. I'm happy with the 3" diameter for pulling and straightening while drying. However, after about 6 months the rubber grip on the handle loosened and turns some as I pull the brush through the hair while straightening as I dry...which is counterproductive to what I'm doing. Finding a brush that grips my hair isn't easy so this is great. But I expected more durability to security of the handle grip so I gave fewer stars.

Nice brush! Would buy again!

Not sure if it's the material of this brush, but I am having horrible static issues. I have 2 old ones I'm looking to replace that work fine, and purchased an Ergo brush that also works fine. I'm disappointed in this purchase and have regrets on the purchase.

I have very thick, course, frizzy/wavy hair. My hairdresser uses this brush on my hair and I'm always amazed at how much better my hair looks when she does it. I decided to buy one for myself and see...This brush is the BEST brush I have ever used! I can now come close to the results that my hairdresser achieves. I guess it's true that some of it has to do with the tools you use. HIGHLY recommend this!
