I wear a size 8.5 and there is definitely room for shoe size 9/9.5. There was extra room at the heal.

I don't know the exact percentage of blended materials. What I do know is this, they stretch and stay up nicely. They breathe and are so soft. My feet feel so good when I wear them. But they are a little on the heavy side. Which means I wear my during colder months.
