When I opened the package the pungent waft of ginger just exploded. It was also the freshet ginger I have ever bought, and taste? WOW! Fantastic. Beats all other ginger I've bought. Not only is it for baking but as a home-brewer a teaspoon at the end of the boil and cooled and put in the fermenter the pitched yeast turns into yeast cannibals that go to work as I've never seen before. A 1/4 tsp added to the yeast in before adding to the flour in bread making will surprise you. And in both instances, the ginger isn't even noticed. But in ginger snap cookies all I can say is Wow! Iya ginger beats all the rest hands down. If you use ginger this is the one you want. Gery (a former chef) and homebrewer.

Sorry for the delay in reviewing this turmeric, I wanted to try it first and give an honest opinion. I am so glad this was recommended to me during the month of February in support of Black owned businesses. I wasn’t specifically looking for either, but when I saw the branding, then the reviews I wanted to try it. The price is good for the quality, and great for the quality. The first thing I noticed was the aroma. To be honest, I use turmeric in my recipes for the anti-inflammatory properties. (Turmeric combined with black pepper really does have a positive affect on my wide spread arthritis. )I’ve just been buying whatever had the best price at the store. I never realized there was even muck flavor to turmeric until trying this! It will be my go too brand from now on, I like that it comes in a zip top pouch, it makes it so much more convenient when I am making my Turmeric Tea.

I'm very impressed with the strength of this ginger root powder. It taste like Jamaican ginger. If you've ever tasted the Jamaican ginger beer soda, then you know what I'm talking about.

This ginger is seriously tasty. I add it to almost all my cooking, from soups et desserts. Very healthy too. Tastes just like fresh ginger. Nice to sponsor a sustainable company!

I love the taste of fennel seed when I cook loose Italian sausage but don’t like biting into the seeds. This ground fennel is a great way to get that taste and flavor.

I’ve been looking for great ginger powder for my cooking as well as my smoothies. This by far is the best I’ve ever had. It has that good spicy ginger flavor which adds some kick. The price and quality can’t be beat. Highly recommended.

I often use fresh ginger for cooking, but making baked goods is easier with dry ground ginger. I do a lot of holiday baking and this ginger really fills my need for flavor.
