Flavor is excellent. No colorant, natural smoke, a few drops are enough to get the flavor. However, shelf life (BB Date) is may 2026, for a product delivered a few days ago. This is probably due to the fact that the seller could not the manufacturer directly. All said, I do recommend this product.

I bought this because the ingredients list only liquid smoke, and I want liquid smoke, not caramel and coloring and other junk. Now that I have it, I have to say I think that really makes a difference. This is the best and most powerful liquid smoke I've ever had by a wide margin.

Great flavor and none of the junk preservatives

We all love liquid smoke in our family. We had used a couple different brands, but always seemed to return to the same one. I saw this one on Amazon, and saw the great reviews. I wondered how great a liquid smoke could really be... Well, there is only one way to find out - order some! I thought it was pretty high priced, but I'd at least try it once. I have become a repeat customer! This is a great liquid smoke! It only tastes like smoke (the grilled kind, not tobacco kind). Most of the others we have tried (and liked) have a flavor base of a certain type of wood, or even a certain food. There is one we buy from a restaurant supply that is bacon flavored. They all have their place, but sometimes, you just want to bring out the smokey notes in a dish. This is the liquid smoke for you then. No additional flavors! So far, I've tried it with hamburger, roast, chicken, pasta salad and deviled eggs. It just works. Very tasty. My only advice is to use a light hand when adding this. It is stronger than you might think. You can always add more, but you can't take it back out! It is very concentrated, and a teaspoon of this is like two of other brands. Well done.

Tasty but cautious with the amount, you only need a little. It literally makes your meat taste like it was smoked outside. It is yummy, just be careful not to use too much

This smoke is one of the purest available. It has no extra ingredients like onions and can be used for cheese making. The smoke flavor is strong, so a tiny bit goes a long way`

Such a good marrinade

So far the best liquid smoke flavour I have come across. It is Hickory-so it adds a wood smoke, not sweet smoke taste. It is important to me that the product does not have weird/artificial ingredients and this brand is all natural. These drops are very useful when cooking to add an enhanced BBQ like flavour. I am using to flavour vegan dishes. Bottle is glass and contains 5oz, which will last a very long time. Purchased June 2019-expiry date is Sept 2020.
