Buy genuine
I originally bought an aftermarket gear and bam it didnt work. Bought this oe and fits perfect and works as it should. Lesson learned this is one time you do not and can not cut a corner.

Still causing rattles
Install the VTC in my car and replaced the old one. However even after installing car still has the known VTC startup rattle.
