Diablo Universal Extension for Drills - 1/4" Hex Shank, 12" Length

Was delivered on time. Shaft was straight. Quick release works with one hand, works well.

Nice quality and finish and at the right price. Worked perfectly for driving hidden screws at an angle with an impact driver.

Heavy duty, hold’s onto bits well. Everything is a green light so far.

I needed to boar out about .100" from the inside of an aluminum heavy wall pipe using a Spiral Flute Cobalt Step Drill Bit. I needed to go in 12" but the extension bit holder I had, kept letting go of the bit and when its inside an aluminum pipe it is not easy to get back out. I had seen good write-ups on the diablo bit extensions so I figured I would give it a try. I ended up putting the bit in the extension and it held like it was welded in. I was able to use the Spiral Flute Cobalt Step Drill Bit to boar out four pipes and the extension did not let the bit go in any of the process. If you are looking for an extension that will really hold the bit and not let it go then look no further than the Diablo by Freud Universal Extension. Out of a Rating of 1 through 10, I would give this a 20+ !

Definitely universal attachment for drills, and would like to get more if I ever need it. Good strength and grip to the drill. Very easy to use for any beginner using drills. Also great price for what we need.

Works great

Great for getting into those hard to reach places. It is a quality Diablo product.

Diablo makes some great products and this one is no exception .. purchased many their saw blades and drill bits and this is a new addition to the tool collection .. so far with impact bits and with attaching wire wheels have been happy on the versatility this tool offers. Good value for quality and smooth operation and fit of collar when attaching bits .. now part of my to go bag of tools! No noticeable wobble in the shaft and looking forward to using this tool further replacing some weaker and heavier collared extensions.

I have used ut extensively yet but its great to have it.

Excelente calidad.

Highly durable extension. Been using it daily during work. It's been used, dropped, abused, and it keeps on going without a single hiccup. The lock mechanism never failed me once. Sometimes harder to unlock than other times, but it always releases. (Usually the only reason it acts up, is if there are external factors at play. Such as extreme cold temperatures, moisture, and ice, or dust/sand/metal shavings. After a quick clean, works like nothing ever happened) Certainly considering more products by Diablo.
