It was time for my boy to start some writing practice. I wasn't looking forward to pre-tracing letters and words. And I wasn't looking forward to printing out worksheets. Another Mom from the home-school group recommended this book. And am I glad I bought it!At first the kid wasn't so enthused. So to sweeten the deal I told him that he could say he wrote a book by the end of the school year, when all pages are done. This did the trick. He now willing writes 2 pages a day and loves how his "book" gets thicker with every page added.Progress is visible. The dotted lines help a lot. He went from being all over the place on the first pages to pretty decent 20 pages later. Progress is definitely visible. (See attached picture)The paper is thick enough to hold up to even an inexperienced writer with an extra sharp pencil. Color pencils and pens - no problem. He even used felt markers on some pages and they did not bleed through the paper. Big plus there.Our finished pages get hole punched and filed in a folder. This way I can easily grab it and bring to our mandatory annual evaluation.I'm really loving this. It truly is a helping hand for home-schoolers.

We are doing virtual learning this year and my daughter ruined her handwriting book her new school sent her. I am so glad we went with this one! It is very high quality paper, the cover and the pages throughout. It includes cursive, which she loves!I also like how it is teaching some of the things we are already reviewing in 2nd grade. This includes adjectives, abbreviations, numbers, money, writing a letter, comparison words and so on. Her new school is having her practice handwriting 10 minutes a day. This book is very thick and should last us most if not all of the school year.We almost went with a different book because this one is pricier but it is absolutely worth it!

This is a fantastic 416 page workbook that is half print and half cursive. If you Homeschool or have a little one who needs some extra help with their penmanship, this is the workbook for you.We have recently switched to homeschooling and I'm so excited we have found these workbooks. This will greatly improve my daughter's handwriting and take her through to cursive. Definitely a workbook you will hold on to for a few years. It progressively goes from K through 3rd grade.

The ART of Writing is becoming a lost skill. this book will help children develop the writing skills necassary to have legiable writing in the future. I love that they have pages that start with the basic letters then move on to words and sentences.

Got this for my daughter for homeschooling. We used in 2nd grade and now we are doing the cursive part of the book for 3rd grade. This book is great for handwriting. I couldnt be more pleased with it. I'm ordering one for my son as well to stash back when we start 1st grade or so

I purchased this book 10 years ago for my son and loved it. I repurchased for my daughter and niece. It is a great book and so helpful for students. They kids love the lines and have fun writing. It has a lot of pages and covers both printing and cursive hand writing for students. I looked at other stores and came back to this book and amazon offers it. I love the selection at amazon and the price.

This was the best book for distance learning! Half of it is print and the other half is cursive. It's been a great thing for my son to do every morning when he wakes up!

I like this book because it is very full of not only print but cursive writing practice pages. The sentence practice starts with parts of the practice sentence all the way to the complete sentence. Also telling time, written number words etc.

This is a very thick book which allows for handwriting practice in manuscript or cursive. Each page has perforated lines which allows for pages to be removed and put away in a folder.
