Furhaven Dog Bed Liner Water-Resistant Foam Mattress Protector Cover - White, Large

My almost 10yr old, 65lb, pup is VERY particular. I was hesitant to purchase the bed with the bolsters along the sides because I wasn't sure if he'd like them but then I decided to go a size up for the bed so that if he didn't like the "pillows" surrounding the bed the flat part would be large enough for his whole body without him having to use the bolster. I purchased the Jumbo bed and am glad I did because my dog uses the bed both ways! He does prefer to rest his head on the bolsters for the most part, but sometimes he likes to snuggle in head close to the bolster but not on top of it. Dogs are weird in the best way! I also purchased the mattress protector which took my pup a bit of time to get use to because of the crinkle noise it makes under the cover, but he got use to it and isn't phased. I wouldn't recommend this bed for dogs that are chewers or like to dig into their beds, but for my guy it's perfect. It's also super easy to wash and I love that you can buy replacement covers (I bought an extra to be able to put on when one is being washed). Overall I'm really happy with the purchase and my dog is too!

I have been wanting to purchase a liner for my dog's bed for quite some time. Glad I took the chance on these. So far i have stuffed it with an old king-sized comforter and old clothes, there is still plenty of room. The only complaint Boots seems to have is the crinkle noise, he is a bit of a wierdo, my lab rescue service dog. This saves me money on buying yet another pillow I would have to retire in a year. If yall need pet beds and can't afford the prices. Just get a pet bed cover and stuff unwanted or damaged blankets, towels, old cushions or old pillows or anything you can think of in these. I have bought a few of the pet bed covers and they are great. I've only bought the Oxford material ones and they seem really durable. I just got the water resistant foam mattress liner yesterday because trying to fight the foam mattresses w/o one is a chore. The liners help so much.

1) This is a good protective cover to ensure that it trap everything inside it. 2) downside is that the cover is very tough. Like it makes crinkle noises when the dogs shuffle around to get themselves more comfortable. I’m actually loosing sleep cause I’d wake up to the noise. 3) the other thing is that it’s noT chew proof. My dogs, the little shit that they are, was able to ripped it to shed when I wasn’t home. I reviewed over the camera and I can hear the sound of what you would make if you were eating a giant beef jerky when you rip into it.

I was so happy to have found this because the measurements were perfect for my dog's bed who has prostate cancer and is now wearing diapers all day and night. This is the first night he had an accident that soaked through: 1. his diaper, 2. a waterproof blanket, 3. a crib mattress waterproof pad, 4. this waterproof dog bed encasement, 5. the actual dog bed cover, down to the foam insert. It seemed the part where the urine got through this encasement was around the zipper area on the side (which was zippered closed), so it's possible it worked somewhat on the plastic-y part but I can't even be sure. This encasement is what allowed the pee to get to the foam insert which really aggravates me because the foam is very difficult to clean properly, and all these layers of protection were to avoid having to clean the actual bed and insert. Washed it in the machine (first time) and it came out with a rip. Can't put it in the dryer so it probably won't be ready for tonight. I wonder what I will wake up to tomorrow :( Very disappointed. And worst is I don't know what my dog will be sleeping on tonight because the bed prob won't be ready in time.

I know you can’t see the liner in the photo but it’s there underneath the top layer. My dog recently got neutered & urinated himself two different times on the bed. The top layer was soaked of course but the liner exceeded my expectations. The urine didn’t soak into the liner at all & I was able to literally wipe it off. I just used some dawn dish soap & a wet rag to clean the liner. I was shocked because we have been through so many beds & liners but I’ve never had a liner where I was able to just wipe off the urine! Definitely recommend!

I have two older dogs, one has accidents in his crate usually once or more a day and the other periodically. I have to change my chihuahua's bedding once or daily. I am currently using a 24-in Kong bed and I purchased this to protect it because I was washing it several times a week. Unfortunately they don't make this in a smaller dog bed size so I purchased the smallest size I could get and I typically roll or fold the excess over. It's quite crinkly and makes noise so you definitely want to cover it with something nice and comfortable for your dog. I have three-layer process. This goes over the bed and then I use a boring pee mattress. On top of that, a decorative one. This may be overkill but it protects the bed and it keeps my dogs comfortable. This even when it's not wet can absorb smells. A Lysol wipe or disinfectant spray works wonders. I typically let it air dry and then put the mattress covers on and we're good to go again.

I have been using Furhaven Beds for my furry friends for many years, and the waterproof covers are a total blessing. All I know is when its time for a clean cover, it is always a pleasure to see the mattress in such good shape, every time.My first cover is still going strong, its been in use every day for 2 years straight. Before the cover, 2 years is normally about the life expectancy of a Furhaven Dog bed. Not no more. Smiles. BTW I never would have thought that black rugs would work in most any home, boy was I wrong, I now love black rugs and the Furhaven blends right in. And I am sure this bed will last awhile, the cover is VERY NICE, I have 6 or 7 Furhaven covers and all of them are nice enough but this one stands out. Thank You.

Is waterproof but very thin. Am concerned it could rip or get poked quite easily. But so far it is doing the trick.
