Best warm base layer we ever bought and it kept us warm enough in the winter at below 30 F temps. Love it so much I bought some for the in laws. I used it in my Alaska trip hiking or around town during cold days. Will def buy again!

I immediately noticed a hole the size of my fingertip. Right in front. This is the first thing I saw when I took it out of the box. Before even unfolding it.I happen to know how to patch holes. Not everyone will. I was very unhappy about having to immediately patch a brand new item. The only reason I didn't send it back is I hate the return process more. I can sill see the patch because the hole was so big.It is extremely soft, comfortable, temperature regulating and agreat fit. That's why it still gets a 4/5. I really like the grey color too.

Very nice product. Is just a bit tight across the chest but will be fine. 5'6" 130#, ordered a medium. If you like a looser fit consider ordering a size up. The wool is quite soft, lovely.

I bought this sweater (and another just like it, except in a different color) for an autumn excursion to Ireland and Scotland. Maybe I'll use them; maybe I won't. The quality and reasonable price are undeniable, however. I expect to use these sweaters here during cooler months in the good ol' U.S.A., too.

I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to let others know how great this merino wool sweater is. I've had it for about a year, have worn it A LOT and have washed and dried it several times. It hasn't pilled, lost its shape, or disappointed me in any of the ways most merino wool items do nowadays. It reminds me of the way merino wool used to be: high quality and long-lasting. I wish there wasn't a logo on the sleeve because it would be nice to wear this to a more formal event (that's how nice it is) but for travel, sports, and everyday use, it's a winner. So happy to have found this company.

Wanted a merino shirt to wear like a shirt—not as a baselayer. Traveling to the UK I wanted something warm but not bulky. This fit the bill. Generous sizing (I tried the L and the XL and the large was plenty big). Other merino brands fit small and snug (like the baselayer should) but these feel looser. Definitely warm.

Love this shirt. It worked great as a layering shirt this winter for outdoor adventures. However, I’m sad to report there’s a small almost dime sized whole in the middle of the back. It seems like a design/shirt flaw.

I am 5'2", 115 lbs, 36" chest, 25" waist, 36" hip. The fit is not snug, could have gotten a xs and been happy. The sleeves will come over half of my hand and it covers the top part of my behind so it is fine. Not terribly soft but the 250g is only a medium weight, still soft enough to not wear anything under it. The 250g is not thick enough to block a wind chill but fine with an outer layer for northern arizona mountain winters. My favorite part is the zipper is very long, goes down to just beneath my sternum.

I have been a merino wool user for over 25 years and I still have some of the long johns and sweaters. Yes, they are Beaton up with holes but under a newer sweater the neck area looks good. Expensive but worth every dollar. Take care of them and merino will keep you warm and dry.

Ordered a size larger than normal so it can be used as a base layer or on top of a base layer. Works well in either case. Neutral gray so goes with many different options.

Ordered fit as it should. A snug fit. Product was excellent loved it.
