These liver supplements were recommended by my vet when my 16-year old Jack Russell was showing his age. He’s been taking them for well over a year and they seem to be helping. These pills are pretty large and if he manages to chew one open he immediately spits it out. So I highly recommend covering it in peanut butter. Works like a charm!

I use this product for my pup that has an autoimmune IBD. He is chronically on prednisone so it’s making his liver values insanely high. Since starting the Sam-e I’ve seen his values go lower (obviously not super low but better than they were) brought his ALKP from 600s to the 400s. Love vetriscience though! I use a lot of their supplements on my baby.

I really want everyone to know that this product works wonders for my dog, the down side is that the pill is very difficult for my small dog to swallow, I've tried every thing, from coating the pill with butter, peanut butter. It's very difficult. After about 3 to 4 trys we finally manage to get the pill swallowed. The food coloring of the pill is all over my hands, Yuck. I can't imagine trying this with a cat. Unfortunately I will be purchasing another brand that I can crush and put in his food, so he won't be terrified any more.

It really helped our dog

I was using their chewable supplements daily. They were not lowering the liver values to where they should be so we started giving her these in addition. Our pup is 13 pounds and eight years old. We give her half a tablet a day, as well as half a chewable. Together they are doing the trick. We are so thankful.

I recently put my dog on this product to help his liver function because he takes a daily steroid for his inflammatory bowel disease. His liver counts were checked 3 months ago and the vet told us they were elevated and it was from his steroids. We started giving him the Sam-E daily to help improve his liver function along with milk thistle. He had his blood work done last weekend and the vet said all of his counts are normal. This is definately a product that I would recommend to anyone. It has saved my dogs life.

The package was opened. Three of the pills were popped through. I was going to return it but my dog is ill and needed it so I only am using the unopened portion. Very disappointed

These supplements are amazing. It was suggested from my vet to help with my dogs cognitive memory. He’s very old and had forgotten where he should be going to the bathroom. As long as he takes these daily there are no inside accidents. When I forgot to place an order and he went three days without it he began having inside accidents again but as soon as I got him started back on it there were no issues.
