Baby Jogger Chicco/Peg Perego Car Seat Adapter for City Select and City Select LUX Strollers Black

This car seat adapter has been absolutely crucial for our daily routine with our newborn. The ability to click our infant car seat directly onto our City Select stroller without disturbing a sleeping baby is pure parenting gold. No more awkward transfers that inevitably wake up a perfectly content little one. Installation is foolproof - the adapters click securely onto the stroller frame in seconds, and the car seat locks in with that reassuring "click" sound that lets you know everything is properly secured. I was initially worried about stability, but the connection feels rock-solid even when navigating curbs or uneven sidewalks. The black finish matches our stroller perfectly, so it looks like an integrated system rather than an add-on accessory. The adapters are lightweight but feel durable - no cheap plastic here. After six months of regular use, they still function like new with no wear or loosening. What really impressed me is how it maintains the stroller's maneuverability. Even with the car seat attached, steering and folding work normally. Our stroller is the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 and infant car seat is the Chicco keyfit 35. We had bought the car seat first for the over all high rate crash protection scores and wanted to get a cheaper stroller that could work with our Chicco keyfit 35. We did not like the chicco strollers unfortunately and researched other brands that had adaptors. Because the keyfit 35 is newer, sadly there were not enough reviews to help us pin point a adaptor for specific strollers. We found that the City Mini had great reviews and had adaptors sold separately. Most of the reviews were for the keyfit 30. So we decided to go out on a hunch and purchased both the stroller and adapter in hopes that it would work with our keyfit 35. (we did purchase the stroller for 40% off on Amazon during Prime deals.) Load and behold it worked!! The infant car seat clicks right into place and secured. The release bar on the back of the car seat easily detaches from the adapter. We have no issues with pinching or harder to release issues bc the 35 is slightly bigger than the 30. IT WORKS PERFECTLY! 10/10

I read a ton of these reviews and got crazy anxious about these not working considering the money I spent on this stroller. I went online and found that strollers manufactured after 2019 fit all Graco Snugride car seats. I have the Snugride Snugfit 35 LX and it locked into the adapter perfectly and fits just like advertised. No issues whatsoever! Stroller folds up the same as it does with the belly bar.

For anyone else looking for an adapter for the Britax Willow S infant car seat.... Look no further this attachment works! Leave off all the bars and the car seat clicks into this perfectly! Hope this helps other parents! I LOVE my baby jogger city select double stroller and have had it for 11 years! So glad it doesn't expire like car seats! 😄

We were gifted a Baby Jogger City Select Double stroller after having our second child (a newborn and an almost 2-year-old). This one works – for the most part, so we’re keeping it. The car seat does in fact click into the stroller with the adapters perfectly fine and you could probably use it like that as-is. But wthe car seat wobbles forward and back, so some additional support feels necessary. To help it, I used the included longer U-shaped support bar, inserting it into the adapter’s holes facing the stroller handles (toward the parent). This helps support the front of the car seat when it’s in the parent-facing position. Important to note: the U-bar doesn’t lock or click into the holes as intended—it just rests securely in the holes. It fits snugly and stays put during normal use and with the weight of the car seat it will not fall out You do have to remove the support bar to collapse the stroller fully. We could not find a use for the the shorter U-bar, although it is pictured upside down, we do not use it in this configuration. With this setup, the car seat faces the parent in the upper position, and the stroller seat attaches to the lower front. The second seat must face backward (toward the car seat) because there isn’t enough clearance for this seat to face forward. That said, there’s still plenty of space and it works well for our toddler. Price-wise, it feels steep considering the adapter isn’t a perfect fit, but the correct Nuna adapter appears to be discontinued, this seems like the best available option.

We purchased an older city select stroller from marketplace and we are still able to use this adapter with it. It also took our new Chicco Keyfit infant car seat. So happy it all works together! The infant seat secures at the bottom rather than clipping into the “U” receivers on each side.

It’s super practical to use, the stroller has two slots one on each side of the seat and you insert it there, you will not be able to use your canopy because this will block the canopy entry slots. I like it, definitely could be cheaper but I mean it’s worth the value I guess it’s like any plastic material solid but sturdy.

This adapter should most definitely work with your stroller and car seat, I have a 2021 City Mini GT2 and the adapter fits. I also have the Peg Perego 4-35 Viaggio Lounge Car Seat and it fits on the adapter with no issues. EVERYTHING IS COMPLETELY STABLE!! **THE YELLOW CIRCLED PICTURES IS WHAT MY STROLLER HAS** In the beginning, it was hard to attach the adapter onto the stroller. We'd forcefully push the adapter onto the slots, one side would click and one side wouldn't click or both sides would click but when we'd pull the adapter to make sure it was secured, the adapter would slip off. When we were having these issues, I did notice that the fabric and elastic bands were extremely tight around the adapter slots when we tried to forcefully push the adapter in. The fabric and elastic bands were so tight that it was stopping the adapter from clicking into the slots all the way. At one point, the stroller was folded with the adapter attached. My spouse decided to shake the adapter off the ground, as the stroller was folded, and we noticed that the adapter wasn't slipping off but when we opened up the stroller, the adapter became loose and was easily pulled out. I decided to take the adapter out and loosen up the fabric so I searched how to take the fabric off the stroller. After loosening up the fabric from the bottom of the stroller, attaching the adapter back on, and trying to forcefully pull the adapter off the stroller, the adapter never came off. I also had my spouse try it out and the adapter never budged off. I reassembled the loose fabric back into place and everything was perfectly fine. The adapter was completely attached and stable, and not once did it come off the stroller. Even with the car seat attached, the adapter is 100% durable. **THE SOLUTION SHOULD BE TO LOOSEN UP THE FABRIC TO ALLOW THE ADAPTER TO CLICK INTO THE SLOTS ALL THE WAY**
