Q: Are these metal or ceramic?

The first person answered ‘ceramic’ but then goes on to say they ‘can’t answer anything about them.’ I should have read further answers as I wouldn’t have bought them knowing they’re metal. There’s only one spot on his whole add that says they are ‘tin’ so if you want ceramic DONT BUY THESE

Q: Will these rust if stored on a ceramic bath surround where the environment is humid?

I live in a dry climate and these are in my kitchen

Q: Do these have a chemical smell inside? I ordered some from another company recently, but had to return them due to a distinct smell on the inside.

I have ONE canister that I have not used yet and I put my nose right in & did not smell anything, but I do not have real sensitive nose. I LOVE my canisters and would recommend them. The seal is tight without being difficult to get the lid off.
