Saves gas
The cooker takes almost 1/5th of the time of a regular cooker, so it saves a lot of gas, what with the increasing gas prices. Cooks well and fast. Only catch is, there is no whistle . So it takes time to adjust to it , if you are used to the cooker whistle. Also , it lowers the time you spend in the kitchen .Worth every penny invested.

it burns the food, lid doesn't close properly. so expensive so bad cooker, can't even use it.I still cook in my old cookerpls have it replaced. I don't need it. I have already drafted an email to you on all of your emails

Worth it !
I had been seeing from my childhood days my mother using the conventional Hawkins cooker and the end result being amazing dishes she made, however with passage of time and my new interest in kitchen affairs too ( recent elections in India saw me getting back in following political affairs) I recently bought this from Amazon.inThe product was delayed by Amazon for some unknown reasons and in spite of me following up with Amazon customer service guys at Hyderabad, the product was still delivered after the promised date.However , all that frustration of dealing with Amazon CS team, the moment I opened the package and after the initial reading of the manual ( one of the best manual which I have read recently), I made my first few set of dishes for dinner .Amazingly , channa masala and mattar paneer were absolutely mouth watering .This new style of Hawkins cooker saves considerable time in cooking .The only drawback is that initially one has to depend a lot on tracking time after the first onset of steam .I will recommend this to anyone who is handling kitchen cooking !cheers

Steam leakage
Steam started leaking from handle immediately after 2 months. One screw in handle was missing . The same screw is not available in market easily.
