Fit is not 100% perfect with Apple's charger but it's fully functional, colour is slightly darker and cooler, cable is thick enough to pass enough current and last for long time, ground contact also works!

For a recent trip abroad I needed a cord for my MacBook. This item works great and allows me to "work from home" while at a place that uses European-style plugs.

Purchased as a relatively inexpensive solution to the alternative of having to constantly use annoying power socket adapters during a lengthy work assignment in Indonesia (to use in place of the Australian cable received when I bought my MacBook Pro originally). Much more compact plus eliminates risk of arcing due to adapter + plug + cable leading to pulling away partly from the power socket over time.

Works well but can be challenging to remove from the Mac power adapter. I've used this extension EU cord in Belgium and France with no problems. It was very tough to get out of my 2012 MacBook Pro power adapter, so much so that I was worried I'd ruined the original power adapter. I recently returned to Europe with a new 2017 MacBook Pro and it is much easier to remove from that power adapter. It's been over a year since I bought it and it still works well. Definitely worth the purchase as it does what it's supposed to but it can be tough to remove from the Mac power adapter depending on which model laptop you have.

The standard Mac power adapter has a fatal flaw: it is almost guaranteed to fall out of a wall socket. And don't even think about using it on a plane. Adapters make it even worse. This is the European version of the reliable way to plug in your Mac. It works well.

This is a genuine product which is also made of very heavy duty material and not that cheap stuff I’ve found recently online. This will outlast every product I’ve bought online. I was surprised by how durable this cord was and is. Well worth your money.

Purchased this before my 5 week trip to Germany. It arrived well packaged and the build quality was on par for any original Apple product. The fit and finish was great and it worked as described for the whole trip. I would recommend this to anyone needing it before a trip or move to Germany.
