The Egyptians (Hide-and-Seek History)

Brilliant for my 6 year old who reads very well. I think the book will continue to be engaging for several years, as there are some challenging words and concepts. There are also so many flaps which is great to keep the interest going. My son asks lots of questions when reading this book. Great book and nice to see diversity and better accuracy when it comes to the depiction of the Egyptians themselves. This was an important factor for me when choosing a children's book on Egypt.The quality of the book itself is very good as my son is rough and needs hard-wearing books.

My son is in year 4 and learning all about the Egyptians, this book is fabulous, full of facts and illustrations, and made fun with all the flaps, would highly recommend
