## Overview

The Herm Sprenger Black Stainless Steel Fur Saver Dog Collar is a 22-inch martingale training collar crafted from rust-resistant black stainless steel with medium-sized links. Designed for medium-sized dogs (18-19.5 inch necks, up to 55 kg), it offers a fur-saving slip chain that tightens gently to correct pulling. Made in Germany, it combines durability, comfort, and professional-grade training functionality, backed by Sprenger’s renowned quality seal.

## Description

Size: This Herm. Sprenger fur saver dog collar is made of black stainless steel and is designed for dogs with the neck circumference from 18 to 19.5 inches (46 cm - 50 cm). Overall collar length is 22 inches (55 cm) by 3mm wire gauge. Link size 0.9 inch (2.3 cm) long and 0.5 inch (1.3 cm) wide. The manufacturer recommends this collar for dogs no more than 55 kg (121 lbs).Important: It is especially important to choose the correct size. Please consider your dog’s neck and head circumference when selecting the collar - the collar slips over the dog’s head and ears. Functionality and Design: Black stainless-steel fur saver collar has martingale assembly chain and medium links (0.9 inch (2.3 cm) long and 0.5 inch (1.3 cm) wide). It is well suited for dogs with short hair and long hair. The chain serves as a behavior correction collar. The collar tightens when the dog is pulling on a leash. The control loop on the collar should have enough room to pull into a symmetrical triangular shape when a leash is attached and pulled. When the leash is attached and pulled tight, the O-rings on each side of the control chain should never touch. There should always be two fingers width (about 2 inches) between the side O-rings.Professional Quality: Made in Germany with precise German engineering, Sprenger offers reliability and quality by the world's foremost manufacturer of top-quality training collars. Each O-ring is stamped with the Sprenger seal of quality HS-Germany.

Review: Quality product, reliable and been around long enough to build a great reputation! - Gorgeous collar for my 10 month GSD. I am so glad I chose this one as it looks fantastic on him because he is mostly black. In my opinion Herm Sprenger makes quality products and I have never been disappointed. This one is too big for him currently but I am hanging on to it…he’s got some filling out to do. And yes - he is wearing a different Herm Sprenger fur saver collar right now (as a backup) along with their prong collar and he is off at training or I would send a picture. Great products!
Review: Nice collar - I really like the design of this collar. Good quality. Fit is as described.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality German Steel Collar
*by R***. on December 7, 2020*

Black stainless steel is light enough for a 25 lb. dog and provides instant control on both sides. If you use the heal right side position for walking the martingale type design will not injure fur on the neck.
