Bravit Personal Sports Blender Smoothie Maker and Shake Maker with Travel Lid. Great little smoothie maker

I have patiently waited several months before reviewing the BRAVIT blender because I think writing a glowing review after just one use of a product doesn't offer the most useful information to others. I rarely endorse or even review any product but I am so satisfied and happy with this product I felt compelled to take the time to write this. I have used the BRAVIT blender every morning for several months to make my morning smoothie. A typical recipe is two cups of juice (my favorite is the NAKED brand), protein and carb supplement, lots of whole frozen fruit and 1-2 tablespoons of flax/hemp oil. This fit easily into my large old style blender (now broken) but I had a very difficult time finding any compact/on the go blender that had a large enough cup for my favorite recipes! Most of the "top brands" out there only had 16 oz cups (20 oz at the most)....not big enough for all the good stuff I put in my smoothie! I'm an average size active middle aged male and I want/need a full size healthy meal from my smoothie and that isn't possible in a 16 oz cup! The ONLY brand I could find was BRAVIT with the 28 oz cup (in fact they give you two 28 oz cups). Of course the bigger size is meaningless if it doesn't adequately blend all your ingredients. All the stuff (including lots of FROZEN fruit) I put into my smoothie fills the cup up to the max 28 oz line and blends everything perfectly in 30 seconds. The only difference in performance between my old more powerful blender is it would take 10 seconds to blend thoroughly. If you can wait 20 extra seconds each use than this blender offers more convenience, easier clean up, smaller footprint on your countertop and excellent portability! The price is actually less expensive than the overpriced inferior brands I referenced earlier! One final point. I was not given a discount or free product by BRAVIT in order to solicit my review. In fact, they asked me a few times after I purchased their product to write a review (just like all amazon products) and I resisted until I was ready to share my thoughts after hundreds of uses because I didn't want to waste your time or mine with a fluffy unsubstantiated review! Give the BRAVIT blender a try!!

Good product. It does its' job very well. I am new to smoothies, but so far this blender is great. I also prepared pure-soups with it. Blends nice and fast! It is pretty powerful for its' size. In addition, blades are made of steel, so you don't need to worry about them to be broken due to apples, etc. I haven't tried to put ice in it, since I am not into adding ice in smoothies. I am not concerned with not having pulse option in it. It blends, therefore, it works. I've tried banana, berries, avocado, corn, frozen cherries, grapes – everything was perfectly blended and smoooooth.I got it for a month now and it works great so far!Once I got a problem with it, but it was my fault. It ended up good anyway. Just in case: don't try to blend a really hot food in it! Cool it down and then blend. I've seen people run into the same problem due to food temperature. It can happen with any blender.Oh, and color! I Love the color! It is great! It's fresh green! Not the fluorescent yellow as on the picture. And I am so glad that it is green. It makes me happy =)One more thing. The cover is good too. It transforms bottle into a sport bottle that good to have on hand with you anywhere. The part for mouth got a right size in my opinion.Recommend.

I would give this 5 stars if it wasn't so hard to seat the shaker cup onto the motor. If you don't have good hand strength, don't buy this. It takes a couple of tries to seat this but when it does, the magic happens. This is the best little blender I ever had. It works great, is convenient and has just the right amount of stuff with it. Who needs all those blender attachments that you get with the Ninja. Just more stuff you won't use. This is perfect with two blender cups you drink out of and easy clean up. The price is right too. One review said the seating gets easier. I only had this a week and used it every day. No loosening yet but I am still happy. I did find a little leaking when I used the pulse feature so I have done all my blending on low and found it works great.

Thanks to the reviews I read while looking for a new blender, I chose this. It was good to know right up front that you can't use frozen fruit in it. You have to treat it gently. That being said, it's the best blender system I ever had, and I've had a lot. I was looking for one that didn't leak, never thinking a system like this existed. I bought an extra bottle so I could have two smoothies with me for my daily travels. The best decision to make with this. It works SO EASILY, cleans SO EASILY, and makes excellent smoothies. As for the frozen fruit thing, yes, you can microwave the fruit for 30 seconds, but if you think ahead, you can also thaw it (use the 15 minutes for a mini-workout!) For a person leaving the house in a hurry for a multi-tasking kind of a day when you also want to squeeze in a workout, this is the best product to put in your little cooler. I experiment a lot: mix either protein powder, or an already made smoothie (Berry Burst), or carrot juice, and fresh or thawed frozen fruit, and seriously, in 30 seconds, I have something delicious. Plus, it takes up VERY LITTLE counter space.

The blender was delivered on August 11 and was used only a handful of times to make smoothies and protein shakes. It stopped working abruptly while I was using it on Sept 13, which was 2 days after the return date expired. Unfortunately, the window for returning it occurred 2days after getting back from a 2-week vacation, and I had not used it during that time.Amazon has been great about returned items. I did not contact them about this due to their return policy but am sure the return would have been accepted and processed if I had sent it back within the 30 day time frame.
