Works very well on stubborn pet odors
I used these odor bombs several times after moving into a new home that had lingering pet and cat urine odors. They did an excellent job neutralizing the bad smells and made a noticeable difference in the affected areas. The main downside is that they leave behind a somewhat chemical smell immediately afterward. Fortunately, that smell dissipates over time, and you can also use a more neutral-smelling odor eliminator afterward if you prefer.Overall, I would give this product 5 stars for its ability to neutralize stubborn odors. If your main goal is getting rid of strong pet odors, this worked very well for me.

Totally Renewed a Smoked in Car - Follow this step by step for the best results
Ok, if you read the reviews they are mostly 5 star or 1 star with complaints. It's all in the method, and this stuff works miracles. Read on!Follow these steps for a car deodorize. The car in question was HEAVILY SMOKED IN FOR 10 YEARS.1. Vaccum out car top to bottom2. Wipe all surfaces with a good cleaner/degreaser - Purple Power (recommneded) or Simple Green3. Use a Rug Doctor with upholstery cleaner on all fabric surfaces (seats, carpets, wells, under seats etc. using the standard cleaning solution for upholstery. DO NOT DO THE HEAD LINER. The machine and solution may separate the headliner from the backing foam.4. Use a damp rag with 50/50 water and degreaser on headliner with a GENTLE rubbing (not scrubbing) action. Do not get the headliner overly wet - this is more of a "Wipe Down"5. remove the vehicle's cabin air filter6. turn airconditioner to MAX and MAX fan on the RECIRCULATE air function with the car running7. open all vents inside the vehicle8. place the odor bomb central in the car on a towel and set it off9. close all doors and let the bomb circulate for 20 minutes - you should see the mist being sucked into the AC vents and blown out10. Turn off the car and let sit with doors closed for 24 hours - do not attempt to use the car11. open the car and use a damp rag with cleaner/degreaser on all hard surfaces to remove residue (note the smell will be a pungent minty/root beer smell - THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT to remove the Odor Bomb's residue from any surfaces12. wipe down seats and headliner with damp rag (do not wet the headliner, just wipe off)13. leave windows open for 24 more hours to "air out" the car14. Odor Mint/Rootbeer smell will dissipate over 3-5 days. If you can, leave the windows open overnight to accelerate the process15 after a week the car will have a neutral smell. and be "as new"If you dont follow these steps, you will either have a stinky (smoke) smell, or be stuck with the "cheap motel" smell reported in the one-star reviews on amazon.I have used this on a car with smoke and another with spilled milk smell and restored to imperceptible smell and "as new". This is a GREAT product when used correctly. If you are going to be lazy with the process you wont be happy.

Powerful odor eliminator with minor limitations in coverage
The Odor Bomb Odor Eliminator is a highly effective solution for tackling persistent odors in enclosed spaces. Each canister releases a strong, fast-acting formula that neutralizes odors instead of masking them. I used it in my car and a small storage room, and the results were impressive—stale and musty smells disappeared entirely within a few hours. While it works great for smaller areas, its effectiveness diminishes in larger spaces. For best results, you may need multiple cans or to treat large spaces in sections. Additionally, the scent left behind, while pleasant, might feel a bit strong for those sensitive to fragrances.Delivery was smooth, and all three cans arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. This product is an excellent choice for deep-cleaning cars, closets, or other confined areas, though planning for larger spaces is necessary.

This stuff works as advertised. Neutralizing the toughest of smells.
Ok so I had a low mileage southern car that was driven 7 miles a day. I read they had moisture muild up in the ac condenser if not driven far enough. And mine smelled like in indoor pool, kinda musty. So I wanted to give this a try. Here is what I did, (and am probably wrong) but I put my AC on re circulation, and high speed, dropped a cardboard piece on the passenger floor board and clicked the can into bomb mode. The ac and car ran for 2hr. When 2 hrs was up, I wiped down the surfaces with a rag, as there was residue from the can. And then rolled the windows down to air it out. For the 1st week it kinda burned my eyes to have me heat on, felt like there was a very strong odor of clean but it was better than mildew from my ac, I cracked the window it stopped the burning. Fast fwd a week the smell is still 100% neutralize and the burning has gone from a 7 to a 2. Gets better every day and couldnt be happier with the results. I'm not saying to do it my way, just the way I wanted to attack my AC system. Will update as time passes by.

Does not work miracles
I bought several of these (15) to deodorize a refrigerator/freezer combo. The first three were from an auto parts store and all they had was "tropical island fruit punch". If you shake a can of cherry soda and spray it all over that is essentially what you get. So while these are "clear" and neutral odor, I doubt you want them spraying on the headliner or upholstery of your car. I will still have to wipe everything down after 9 bombs have been used. The rotten food smell is not gone at all and after the numerous bleach baths, 15 lbs of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and newspaper to absorb the odor I used the bombs. Fridge went out the day I left apparently for 2 weeks and nothing will take this horrible smell away. I can't blame the bombs as others say they are okay but no one mentions the residue, which is a little sticky. I don't think I would recommend them for a car because of that. In this case the fridge is trash. I'd try them if you get to the fridge much sooner. I'm giving them 3 stars overall because I don't want to trash the product that cannot perform a miracle. Maybe it works under less drastic conditions.

Destroyed my car ceiling.
I bought this Odor Bomb for my used car that had some bad smell from previous owners and detailing didn’t helped with the smell. So I put canister on the arm rest as per instructions and left for 2hr. My car cloth seats are covered with oily substance and the worst thing happened to my car ceiling. It’s soaking vet, left huge stain that I was able to get rid of because I acted immediately. But now ceiling is heavy soaked with Odor Bomb scent that I can’t get rid off! And smell is not pleasant, it’s disgustingly sweet. I tried to clean ceiling with soapy water, then with white vinegar, but it doesn’t help. I left car with open windows but it’s not airing out! It’s to much for the car. So if you are considering to use this Odor Bomb, please be careful. Try smell before using it in your car, make sure you like it. But consider that you may destroy interior of your car.

Works as advertised.
This stuff works. I've used it in 3 cars. Smell is fresh like the outdoors. Slight lemon smell too. A little awkward to use so watch your finger as you spray. It doesn't stain as far as I can tell. DON"T spray the whole can in your car that will be too much smell. Maybe 1/3 can at a time. Leave your car overnight so it can work I would even suggest putting the car in the sun to help it work better.

Saved my car!
3 1/2 weeks ago a half gallon of milk tipped over in the back seat of my car, the lid popped off, and the entire thing poured into the seat and under it into the frame of the car. Desperate, I immediately took the car to be detailed, explaining what had happened. $150 later, I got my car back, and two days after that the stench of the spilled, now ROTTEN milk was all you could smell in the car. I took it back for a second shot at detailing, and the smell remained. All my friends told me there was no way to eliminate that smell, and I should sell the car. It was a running joke for several weeks, me driving to work in the "stench-moblie". As I am in NO position to take on a car payment, I investigated remedies online and found this product. I had no real hope that it would work, as it was so inexpensive and seemed like a long shot... but I bought it and set it off in my car three days ago. After the can was emptied, I turned on my air vents on circulate, left the car running for 30 minutes, and let the odor eliminator circulate through the car all that time. I pinned a plastic trash bag tot he headliner to keep it from staining, and the rest of the car was fine. I left the windows open overnight, so it could air out, and in the morning the rotten milk scent was completely GONE. We were totally amazed. For 3 days we waited, as the days heated up, for the smell to come back and it never did. The neutral air scent of the car bomb has lingered a bit, but it is a fabulous smell in comparison to the spilled milk, and dissipates daily. I am thrilled with this product!
