I have purchased three of these Tennsco cabinets. All three were delivered on time and undamaged. I like the quality, strength and overall appearance. I noticed some people have had an issue with the shelf weight capacity. There are a row of tabs on the side and the rear of the cabinet that supports the shelf. There is a small slot on the bottom edged of the shelf that needs to catch the tab in order for the shelf to be fully supported. If you are adjust the shelves to various heights you need to make sure the tabs on the side and back have mated with the slots properly to get the advertised shelf capacity. You may need a screwdriver to slightly extend the tab to allow the slot to engage. Not an easy procedure but very sturdy once completed properly.

These are very adequate materials-storage cabinets for your garage or utility room. I would have liked them to be of thicker steel in the corners and shelves as when you are unpacking them, they are pretty flexible and easy to dent. That said, I have successfully loaded the shelves with over 80Lbs each and they are holding up great. They are truly functional. I also bought the wheeled base dolly that matches these cabinets and it was super strong and of much thicker gauge steel. Great caster wheels as well. These bolt on quickly and provide easy mobility of the cabinet even if loaded.**ALWAYS be careful and have a spotter moving loaded cabinets!!** - Thanks, Safety Sally...For the price, I have no complaints and the storage capacity of this cabinet is exceptional and easy to organize.- Bolt

Cabinet came with lots of dents. Not sure who's to blame for that. Maybe it's the shipper, but it was packaged well on the truck.The key is hard to insert.The shelves are supposed to carry 250lbs. I put about 40lbs on the lowest section, with the most support and it started to sag really bad. I ended up cutting a 4x4 into 5" pillars and put it on the floor under the cabinet. That allowed me to put more heavy stuff on the lowest level.Overall it's OK but I expected better for the premium price.

This item arrives fully constructed on a palette.Originally I was planning on having this next to my work bench in the same corner in my office.But the work bench took up a good amount of space, and this item is nice and deep as well.So we just left it in the garage were the delivery guy dropped it off.All you have to do is take off the protective packaging and push it against the wall and you're done.

I ordered this for my workspace and it is perfect for my needs. There was no assembly whatsoever. It was delivered and was well packed. In fact, there was so much packing it took quite a while to get it all off but the cabinet was not dented or scratched upon arrival. Right now I am storing large totes crammed with craft supplies as well as paints, and other supplies. It has a lot of room and really fit the bill. It is pricey which almost stopped me from getting it but it is worth the money.

First order the unit was lost (how do you lose something this big?). So I reordered, then the second one arrived very beat up and dented in several areas, so I requested a replacement. The third one arrived and was not beat up and can be utilized in our office. Kudos to Amazon customer service for helping me each time along the way to request a replacement which is one of the reasons I continue to use Amazon whenever I can. The cabinet is nice and should serve us well.

I was anxious about the unit arriving with damage and was elated that it did not. The unit is pretty sturdy, looks good and as functional as expected. On the downside, it doesn't have leveler feet so I layered strips of card board under to balance it until the doors were perfectly aligned. Another small nuisance is moving shelves. There are tabs on the inside of the back side of the cabinet that support the back of each shelf. I had to pry open the tabs with a screw driver to use them. The unit arrived with all shelves installed but none of them were attached to back tabs. Make sure you attach them as this helps support the shelves and should help the structural integrity of the entire cabinet when approaching weight capacity. Very good value overall. I'd buy it again.

Hinges are welded on out of alignment so doors do not close or lock properly. There is basically nothing holding the hinge pins in and you can take some of them out by hand with no tools.... obviously not very secure You can break into this locking security cabinet with a medium flathead screwdriver in minutes. It might keep a child out but that's about it. It's been a pain returning it today so I will be forced to spend more time and money to replace the pins, realign the hinges and add reinforcement plates around the lock bolts in order to make it somewhat secure.It was not damaged in shipping that part was fine
