I had tried it at my local quilt shop during a class and I had been very sceptacle that a cordless iron could get and stay as hot as I needed it but it fooled me. It's light weight but still gets the job done that usually requires a heavier iron. The 2 pointed ends are excellent for getting into the corners of triangles for a clean appearance.
