It does what it's supposed to do. It fits well, it compartmentalizes items well, and it leaves good space underneath for storing larger items. i keep a jar of peanuts underneath along with charging cables and medium bottom of hand sanitizer under the tray and can still close the lid with ease. It works for our 2021 XC40 recharge, which is likely the same for model years 2018-2025, EV, hybrid or internal combustion models.

This top tray for the XC 40 center console fits perfectly. Quality is excellent, and it helps organize the space. It's very easy to install and use.
