This is by far and the best aerator I have tried. This product oxidizes the wine instantly having equivalent results to decanting the wine for 30-60 minutes. Smooths out the bite of wine (tannins), helping strong red wines become drinkable almost immediately. I've did many blind taste tests with several of my friends... before and after aeration... everyone agreed, this product really work great. With this new "toy" I can enjoy many less expensive wines, the ones before I dismissed as harsh and unrefined... now the aeration softens and opens up the subtle complexities of those wines. If you get a chance... try a sample of Cahors or Languedoc (before and after aeration)... you will see the difference, it’s striking. Try any strong or medium Red wine, you'll see the difference. There are many bargains "old world" wines ranging $10-20 from Portugal, Spain, France, Italy... with aeration they blow away many more expensively priced "new world" wines. I was so impressed with this product and that I purchased the Vintorio glass decanter... I loved quality of the glassware and functional details of the decanter. Using their decanter with the Omni aerator... is the perfect combination. Side Note: My 2nd Omni Aerator that I purchase had a defect, the company immediately sent me another one that fixed the problem. Nice to see a company that stands behind their products.

Really liked the feel of it. Great quality. Rests nicely in holder without concern that it'll tip over. Poured wine at different speeds to test if the video they use as a marketing tool was similar in reality. It was. Works exceptionally well with their coordinating flask - the one with the indent on the bottom making it easy to (if inclined) hold and pour from the bottom. Was more than I wanted to pay for an experiment but out the door with both products well under $100 is great, all the more so due to quality. Will likely purchase both aerator and flask as gifts. Unique, well made, and not likely to be re-gifted or tossed.

I purchased a carafe and an aerator as a family Christmas gift. I have used them only once so far but they worked perfectly. The Vintorio Aerator, which this is a review for, was easy to use and easy to clean-up after using it. Note that I am no wine expert, however it visually appeared to me to me to do an outstanding job of mixing air into the wine as it is poured through the aerator. Also the first stage aerator was easy to remove so that it could be cleaned separately from the second stage. At this point I as very happy with the purchase and would recommend to a friend, thus the five star rating.

As and aerator this device works great. Only complaint is that its kind of bulky to pour and hold at the same time over the glass. I wish I'd bought one with a stand that i could put the glass under while the aerator was supported.

I didn't realize how not only convenient this tool is, but it really does make wine taste better, which I have doubted in the past. After trying it a few times, I'm sold, and I'll be making this one of my special gifts for the holidays. It is also beautiful, and I especially love the fact it is NOT glass, so I won't have to buy replacements. (I've been at friends' houses when they drop glass ones - expensive and sad.) It's well made and has a velvet pouch and a stand so that you can store it or bring it to a party so friends can try it.

We had bought a few bottles of red wine, in the $10-$15 range. They were Pinot Noir, Argentinian Malbec, Petit Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. Before the Omni had arrived, we tried a glass of Pinot Noir and it tasted flat and watery. The next day, the Omni was put to task. Immediately...we had noticed that the flavors were bold and the smells were more pronounced! This is an amazing wine gadget; especially at this price point!

We originally LOVED this! It makes such a difference in the flavor of the wine! We were shocked! But it's durability was lacking. We are less than a year out from owning this, only use it 3-4 times a month, and the plastic has hundreds of weird cracks all throughout the body, and the final, aerating plastic nozzle just snapped off, making this aerator unusable since it cannot aerate without the multi-hole tip. It is a pity as it worked so well while it worked
