Welded HEAVY DUTY Closet Rod & Shelf Support Bracket - 2 Pack -Chrome

The wall-mount screws were 1/8" root diameter and total length of 1.5". After accounting for 5/8" drywall thickness, ~1/8" thickness of the metal bracket and the tapered end of the screw there wasn't enough thread-in-wood contact for my liking. I ended up using 3" deck screws. That'll do, pig . . .

These were sent with mismatched incorrect screws. I had to use my own in order to properly secure the brackets to the wall.

I could have given this 3 stars, but because of the sturdiness I gave it 4. The problem my dad had when screwing it into my closet was that it wasn’t exactly a 90 degree angle, so it didn’t fit up against the wall and the top of my closet shelf. It was almost warped. Because of that, he was not able to screw the rod to the top of the shelf. However, my dad said that it won’t hurt anything because he had it screwed into the wall really well. Overall, the rod does what it supposed to, and my closet is now a lot more secure.

Product arrived and looks just like the picture. I like it because it's actually flat and even.I used it across a larger width so I had to buy a couple more brackets from a local big box hardware store and those brackets were not perfect right angles.Luckily with these on the ends it doesn't matter as much. Looks great with a 11.5inch depth shelf on top!

They were easy to put up and very sturdy! The package included everything that I needed to put them up.

Used to reinforce my closet. Perfect.
