This lotion is great. Lightweight and smells amazing. High potency smell - like lemon poundcake. Yum. I will repurchase because I gave it to my mom who fell in love with it.

I have really dry skin, partly because I take a chemo med for autoimmune issues that really dehydrated me no matter how much water I drink. Other lotions I bought were either too greasy and just sat on the surface of my skin OR simply weren’t hydrating enough. But this hand cream is my absolute favorite now. It is super moisturizing, but is also fully absorbed by my skin very quickly. It’s honestly impressive. There was a nearly immediate, extremely noticeable difference in the condition of my skin after I started using this.This lotion even seemed to solve a related issue I was having where my dead skin cells just refused to be shed, no matter how much I scrubbed in the shower or how much of my normal body lotion I applied. Sorry if it’s TMI, but literally minutes after applying this for the first time on my arms, I was able to basically just wipe off that dead layer of my skin, revealing much softer and more supple skin underneath. This is an issue that has been plaguing me for over a year that was seemingly solved in one day.Additionally, I find that the scent is very pleasant. It weirdly reminds me of Froot Loops at first, but in the best way possible. It’s just got that nice citrus-forward, sweet fragrance, and as it dries down the scent gets mellower and more creamy as the lemon settles into the background. It’s definitely got a gourmand scent imo, but it’s not cloyingly sweet or artificial. It just genuinely smells like madeleines with lemon curd or something.I think the Shea butter is largely responsible for the creamy, vanilla-like scent that develops after a couple minutes. It’s very nice, I find myself smelling my hands for like an hour after I apply it because it’s just so delicious! It doesn’t have a strong throw at all once absorbed, the scent fades to only be detectable if someone is inches from your skin, so it hopefully shouldn’t annoy people around you unless they are severely intolerant to fragrance.

The texture is great! It’s viscous/thick and spreads easily. My skin is definitely moisturized. For the fragrance, it gives a reminiscent scent, smelling like hair products from a few years back.

Re-review 5/25/24. Got my last shipment and was horribly disappointed. It appears they monkeyed with the scent which now smells like bitter lemons, YUK!!! I've been buying this hand cream for more than 10 years and LOVED its scent. Is this just a manufacturing oopsie or did they decide to change the scent? Whichever the case. please bring back the lemon cookie scent. I wont be buying this product ever again unless they return the scent back to its original. Old review-- Fab product with a yummy lemon cake smell. Does a great job on ny hands. I have been buying this product for more than seven yrs and think it's worth the money. Will def buy again!

This hand cream is perfect for carrying in my purse when I'm on the go. It smells so light and fresh, and moisturizes my hands when they are feeling rough and dry. I am so glad that I decided to give this a try. I would buy it again for sure.

I’m so disappointed. I’ve purchased many Watkins products over the years and all have been high quality and lovely scents. This coconut lotion smells nothing remotely like coconut. There isn’t even a hint of smelling like coconut. It has a weird flowery smell, and I’m not a flowery scent type person.I’m going to go back to lemoncreme and lavender. They never disappoint.I’m giving 3 stars simply because Watkins products generally are very good, and this lotion DOES give my skin a nice feel without greasiness. It just smells……weird.

This is the first time buying this brand or scent. Instant love. I'm actually pretty sensitive to perfumes, but this particular scent is a soft, gentle lemon. My husband was hugging me and said "mmm what's that?" "Oh just some new lemon hand creme".."mmmm lemon good!". So it passed the husband's test! I love the scent,nbut quality of this creme is exceptional. Shea butter makes this creamy and smoothI have very dry skin cause i live in the desert. Non greasy. Bought this after reading the reviews but it did not live upto the hype. The cream smells amazing...like lemon soufflé, but it did not moisturise my hands at all. Did not find it value for money at all.
