Which android system does it work for?

I know it works on my phone OK - that's Android 10.

Will this app and software work on an iPhone 5th generation?

No, it will not. As the seller has said, the app requires iOS 12.0, and the latest version of iOS the iPhone 5 supports is 9 (I think!) The iPhone 6 would support iOS 12, but not 13, so it will run the app now, but in the future, it may not.
