Started researching motors to upgrade with and came across Castle while researching Hobby wing motors. Needless to say, I wound up going with the 1717-1650kv and mamba monster x esc. Woke my Shogun right up. So much power with no lag in the sensored setup. Only running a 16t pinion gear, but this thing boots! Running a twin turbo fan to keep things cool. Now if I could just find a good space to run this thing full throttle, I’d be very happy! Review: Strong rc motor, beastly - Installed this in my Arrma Limitless V2 build and it's working perfectly. It's a good fit and runs like a cheetah now. Can is beefy but no issue with the V2, paired with my XLX2 ESC my car has never been faster.
