Would removing the tiles hurt the hardwood?** A: Yes the adhesive would ruin the flooring **Q: How do you remove the adhesive if you want to replace them? Plan to do actual tiles at a later time.** A: To be durable enough to withstand foot traffic, FloorPops were designed with a strong adhesive. This means that they are NOT removable in the sense that our peel and stick NuWallpaper or wall decals are removable/temporary. They can, however, be removed should you choose to- we recommend using a scraper or an object with a thin, flat surface to wiggle under a seam and pop a corner of the tile up. From there you should be able to peel off the tile with your hands. Please note that as the adhesive is strong, if installed on a painted surface FloorPops are likely to lift the paint. It is also possible that some adhesive residue may be left behind when FloorPops are removed. The adhesion is rubbish, but honestly a can of spray adhesive is so cheap and does the trick. If you are perfectionist you don't like it. Some of tiles have different colours. Some of them have problem with adhesive - on the next day after placing I saw few corners go up and I had to use glue to stick it again. The most annoying thing is that you have to spend lot of time to find good connection with the pattern, because they are not cut straight.
