good quality, nice length to reduce excess cable in cabinet, snaps with good hold into ports
I run sound and media for a growing church and we built a cabinet on wheels for portable transfer to and from location since we do not have a church property building yet. Because of this we wanted to stream line the number of components, wiring and cabling, to do all we need a smaller footprint space. The short color coded XLR cable did the job excellently giving us the minimal distance to connect component to component with no excess to noodle up the cabling in the back of the portable case. The connectors lock well into place, and the colors being different and many helps making tracing lines quicker and easier to find the issue if there is a glitch in our streaming or sound media system. Excellent price and build. Quality and dependable.

Color coded is easy to install, my speakers get very clean sound from these cables
Why did you pick this product vs others?: These XLR balanced patch cables are color coded for easy connections. It's so easy to install I didn't bother labeling each cable. I could see which cable went to which connection on the sound processor and amp. The female connector clips into place securely while the male end just pushes onto the connection. They hold securely. I don't get any noise in my speakers so the cables and amplifier work well together. XLR balanced cables are supposed to send a clean signal so this is what I expected. Three feet is a good length. There are two components between the processor and amp so I didnt want anything shorter. I coiled the extra length.

For 5 TC Helicon vocal effects units daisy-chained to a pedalboard
I have 5 TC Helicon vocal effects daisy-chained on a pedalboard. After using them at several few gigs, one of the sound engineers commented on the "spaghetti mess" of cables daisy chaining them together. I decided that I wanted to eliminate the mess by replacing the half meter XLR cables connecting the units, and the 3' foot power cables that were twist-tied and running power from the pedal board. After buying 6 and 9 inch cords for the power connectors, I bought these 1 foot XLR cables to colorfully organize my XLR connections neatly and efficiently with no additional slack. It still sounds great and looks tight and clean now.
