does this flash work with the camera on auto setting ?

Yes it does, but because it's a "manual" flash, it won't talk with your camera's electronics you have to set the flash intensity yourself. This only sounds difficult. After a few dozen shots, you'll figure out how it works and get it right the first time every time. I'd recommend starting at 1/4 for an indoor shot and adjust it from there.

Will it work with Flashpoint R2 2.4G wireless trigger?

Yes it will. In fact, Flashpoint gear IS Godox gear with different branding

The TT600 is a fully manual flash with built in wireless 2.4G radio slave capabilities, as well as offering high speed sync with manual exposure mode.
