Brewsion(R) Coffee French Press

Works really well particularly considering the price. It's nice being able to control the water temp and brew time more than the standard automatic coffee pots. it's easy to rinse clean as well. Since I typically use only 1.5 or 2 cups of water, I would like it if the center rod was longer so that the screen could be plunged a little further downward so that I could squeeze the coffee grounds somewhat. It works well as it is and probably is easier to clean than if the screen was compressed into the grounds.

Handle is a little crooked. Otherwise perfect

This item is poorly made - which I didn't discover until after I used it. Two problems: The lid doesn't fit, and the filter is crooked. When pouring the coffee, you have to hold the lid otherwise the ill-fitting lid drops towards the spout, and splashes coffee and messed up the pouring flow. The filter is crooked - again didn't notice until I made the first press - and the press was uneven because the filer is crooked. This results in an uneven press, grounds still floating in water while the remainder of the grounds are compressed into the bottom of the pot. A very poor excuse for touted quality, IMHO, and not worth half the price I paid.

Love my French press!! I use it every day. It's easy to clean and easy to use. Definitely a good buy.

Great tasting coffee........my new favorite kitchen thing

I received this item at a discount with a promo code. This does not affect my review. So far, I have used this product once. I was hesitant about ordering because I've never used this type of brewing system before. I was worried that I'd be getting grounds in my mug when I poured my cup of coffee. What I found was that this really does brew the best cup of coffee I've every had! It does take a tad longer than my Kuerig, but the quality of the drink was well worth it! I have to get used to measuring the amount of grounds, but that's just me getting used to something new.

I recently purchased this French press at a discount using a promo code. I was asked to give an honest review in exchange for the discount. I had been wondering how coffee tasted using this method of brewing, versus my normal coffee maker (just a small 4 cup maker). I have to say I am very impressed with the coffee using this French press. It is by far the best cup of coffee I've ever had. I didn't get it right on my first cup, because my water wasn't hot enough, and my coffee was too finely ground. However, after I used a higher water temperature and more coarsely ground coffee, things came out perfectly. It take just a bit longer than my coffee maker to put together a cup, but it is worth it. The packaging came with clear brewing instructions, as well as tips for the perfect pot of coffee. I'm very pleased with this press and will now be putting away my standard coffee maker in exchange for this.
