Bought this for my parents. They hooked it on the tub as designed but actually use it for help on and off the toilet, which is right by the tub as in many older houses. They are both a little infirm but this gives them the stability and strength to easily get up and down. Much cheaper than installing a raised toilet like we were contemplating! The quality seems to be very good, would definitely buy again.

These rails are super sturdy, and exactly what I had envisioned when I ordered. I ordered two rails, to put one at each end of the tub. I was a little disappointed that on one of the rails, one of the rubber pads was missing from the inside of the part that goes over the tub. These are to protect the tub from getting scratched. I was ready to return it, but my husband said he could make something to fit in there. Other than that, I am very happy with this product. They are easy to install and remove, and I am excited that my Mom will be safer getting in and out of the tub! I would recommend these to anyone needing a bit of help getting in and out of a bathtub.

Home health care from hospital was here and advised we purchase bath assistance for my wife. This device appeared to be priced correctly and I took a chance on the purchase, sight unseen. It arrived on the date as promised, and while I'm not easily impressed, this thing is beyond expectations. I installed it in less than a minute. I believe it's aluminum & steel, and it's much heavier and more sturdy than I expected. My wife likes it; and more importantly, she trusts it to enter and exit the tub unassisted.
