So I actually have to say I was sceptical at first. I even went to the products website to double check the validity of this item. For everyone saying it hasn't been crash tested or approved for use... I simply recommend that you use Google.Yes it has been crash tested and as a mother of 3 kiddos, and who loves them all dearly I was convinced of it's safety and bought one. It has worked well and is super easy to install.Pros: it's super easy to installMy kiddos can buckle and unbuckle herself. (Might be a con depending on your kiddo)It takes up WAY less space than a booster seat which when you have 2 in car seats and 1 in a booster seat is a big deal.Cons: you might have to keep the box as it explains where it has been crash tested/approved for use in moto vehicles if you get pulled over.You might have to explain to grandparents/babysitters how to properly install it as I had to change the height setting depending on the car.Overall 110% worth it and I already bought a second one.

Can be adjusted to fit my tall 5-year-old perfectly, in his T-shirt or in his thick winter coat. I bought this because the seat belt comes out of the built-in notch in my car for a childfit. The faulty notch is a little visible in the image I uploaded, about at level height with the top red buckle and just to its right. I apologize for not having the 5-year-old in the seat to actually demonstrate it for you. It does fit neatly across his shoulder though.This product didn't come with any directions, but it's pretty easy to figure out from the image on the box. It is cheaper and more portable than a booster seat. I'm happy with the purchase, and happy I found something that works so well with the three-point seat belt, the way Nils Bohlin intended for it to work.

This worked out great for us during a vacation to Orlando/Disney. We paired it with an inflatable seat. The seat came with a seatbelt strap, which I forgot on the first Uber trip! But I had this with us as well and felt this strap was so much better and more secure anyway. Definitely glad we were able to travel with this lighter option and still feel like our 6 year old was properly positioned under the seatbelt and secure the few times we needed to ride in a car.

It does help to keep the car belt in place when it’s too close to the head instead of across the chest where it should be (for older, but shorter kid)

I ordered two of these for my kiddos for our vacation. They worked perfectly and were so much easier than trying to lug their booster seats around. They were easy to use and you only need to position them once. After you Clip them in place the kids can buckle and unbuckle their seatbelts on their own and still be safely belted every time.

Did not like that the seat belt could not be tightened, appeared to be unsafe for kids.

This seat belt adapter is such a great invention. I can easily put it on the bottom and then buckle her in and put it on the top 2 inches above her shoulder. We went on a trip to Hawaii and used this the entire time and our daughter likes it too. Just don't forget it in a rental car like we did.

So much easier now. My daughter couldn't fit her hand in between her car seat and her brothers so drop off and pickup from school was a nightmare. Now it's so easy and she feels so much more grown-up, but also I'm happy because she is safely strapped in.
