Fails after a year!!!! Beware!!!
Beware!! beware!! beware!! beware!! beware!!We would have put 0 Stars if we could, our mini split unit failed after a year and 1 month 1 month after warranty. It started showing an E1 code, our HVAC contractor checked everything and couldn't fine what was wrong with it. We contacted the company and they wouldn't do anything, they said it could be the mother board unit so they made us purchase a new motherboard which they sent out and it was still not the problem. We had a couple professionals look at it and they could not figure out what was wrong with it. WE TRIED AND TRIED CONTACTING the company five times and they would not respond. We are still waiting for a response! FYI ITS BEEN OVER A YEAR AND NO RESPONSEThey don't care about customer satisfaction at all, their products are terrible obviously the quality is terrible and UNreliable, if you need a unit to last only a year then this one is the one for you! Also the dehumidifier button never worked from the start we had to run a separate dehumidifier. I hope I can save anyone from losing their money.

Good hardware, lacking controls
I like the hardware. The controls are disappointing. A time of day clock is missing and neighbor the display nor the remote displays the room temperature .Setting delayed actions is possible but not easy.

Buyer Beware
You better ask HVAC people near you whether buying a no name mini split online, with no tech support and a from a guy who thinks it's OK to plug these in to outdoor receptacles, and who thinks he knows the NEC ( national electrical code) is a good idea.
