I ended up getting this over one of the competitors which was cheaper and I'm glad I did spend the extra money. I really love all the extra features that come with this watch and it's also proven to be quite sturdy. I will admit it is a bit beefy but not over cumbersome. I like hoe it's a nice soft blue light and one last for 3 sec which helps to keep your position concealed. It does a lot of the stuff a smart watch does it just doesn't spy on you and report back to Uncle Sam or big tech. Get one you won't be sorry. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS

I ordered this watch so I would have it by Christmas. What I got was someone’s used piece of crap instead. I got a refund and got the same looking watch from North Edge. The band was thin and cheaply made andalmost too small for me. I got a refund.I told my wife that I really liked the style and really wanted the watch so she put in an order for another AVTREK.When I got the surprise watch delivered I was really impressed with everything about the watch. Unlike the North Edge I didn’t have to do a thing but put it on. The band was well made and thicker than the North Edge watch. I like the watch so much that I’m going to get a second one different color band. It’s a shame they don’t have one with a Tan/Khaki because I would have three AVTREK watches.The AVTREK Watch is a really good watch and a good value. I will patiently wait and hopeful AVTREK adds a Tan/Khaki band.And again the date, time, compass…everything was set. I never got a watch out of the box and didn’t have to do anything but put it on.

Initial reviewLooks good out of the box. You will need to calibrate all the modes, the instruction manual was easy to follow. For the readability setting the LCD to L01 seems to give the best results between day light and backlight. I would like to see a version with a bright red LED backlight so it's easier on night vision. I look forward to seeing how the watch holds up and finding out how accurate the features are.ProsEasy to read screen under natural light, super crisp and clean.Backlight readability is good.Construction is high quality for it's price, the watch has a nice weight to it.Barometer, altimeter, thermometer, count down timer, step counter, chronograph, all without it being a smart watch.ConsThe glass is a finger print magnet. The quality of the watch is very good and pretty good features and easy to use. And the style looks great.

Watch showed up with a dead battery. The band is cheap and not very comfortable. The instructions are not well written or easy to follow (not surprising for a Chinese product). That said, the watch itself seems to work well after replacing the battery. Lots of functions but I'll have to figure out by trial and error.

I have been looking at watches and after reading the reviews on this product and noting all the functionality I thought I would purchase the AvTrek. Watch looks well made with a lot of functions; pedometer, altimeter, timer, alarm, compass, etc… but after purchasing noted the compass was reading north for south and east for west... after talking with customer service they sent me a new watch. A few days after receiving the new watch I bumped it and it fall off my wrist, and it has done this several times since. I contacted customer service and they are saying it's too late I'm outside the return date... so stuck with watch that will not stay on my wrist... looking over the reviews I see that several people have had the same issues.

Easily worth the money! Quality definitely shows its self right away. Face of the watch was a wee bit bigger than expected however this does make the readability easier. Weight is balanced and the water resistance is wonderful.

Works great and shipping is as fast.
