Very nice Bible with really good commentary notes from a great Bible teacher Mike Murdock. If your looking for a good easy carry compact Bible to study I highly recommend the Wisdom Bible.

Exhibiting a spontaneous extreme lack of wisdom, I clicked "Buy It Now" when I saw an inexpensive very marked and used copy of prosperity preacher Mike Murdock's "The Wisdom Bible." Sadly, people supposedly make $1,000 "seed" "donations" to Murdock's ministry to obtain new copies of this book. The back cover is stamped "GENUINE LEATHER," but it looks and feels like cheap bonded leather. The "wisdom" is appended in 160 pages at the beginning of the book (followed by a small-print Thomas Nelson red-letter self-pronouncing King James Version bible without references or notes). Firstly, there are 124 "Wisdom Study Guides©" which are lists such as "7 keys to Getting Along With Others©" and "31 Facts About The Proverbs 31 Woman©" (which planted the Nails' new-wave ear-worm "88 Lines About 44 Women" in my head). Many are lists of secular tips around goal-setting, planning, managing and "winning" tenuously supported by out-of-context or irrelevant Bible verse references. Some of the lists are downright heretical prosperity gospel "seed" doctrines, e.g. "31 Facts You Should Know About The Law Of The Seed©" and "17 Facts You Should Know About Tithing©." Sadly, all of the "Wisdom Study Guide©" lists are man-centered what's-in-it-for-me cherry-picked references which misrepresent the core Christ-centered component of the Bible. All of the lists are printed over a background scroll graphic to emphasize the ancient wisdomness of the content. Every Word Of Every Item In Every List Is Capitalized (Like This). Each title also terminates with a copyright symbol in an hilarious scheme I have never seen in any other book (even the table of contents has a copyright symbol on EVERY line!). The only wisdom page without a copyright indicia is page 108, "How to Read The Bible Through in 30 Days" which divides all the books of the bible into 30 sections, from Genesis through Revelation. The final section of the wisdom appendix is 365 dated "WISDOM KEYS OF MIKE MURDOCK©" (one for each day of the year except leap day), e.g. #27 "Your Life is Whatever you Choose To Remember©," #349 "Your Memory Replays Your Past; Your Imagination Preplays Your Future©,"and #358 "What You Celebrate You Will Remember©" "The Wisdom Bible" will receive my stamp of disapproval flagging its unorthodox eisegesis.

Great Bible

I actually own this. It was my mom and dad's and I got it after they passed away last year. I love it! I grew up reading this. I'm so happy to see a few still in circulation. :)
