Why did you pick this product vs others?: I am familiar with Victorinox products so I had to try this knife. I wasn't disappointed. It oerates extremely smoothly and locks/unlocks easily. It is very sharp and cuts steak easily which means one may use it in a restaurant.

I have two now - one in green and one in red. The folding function protects the blade and has a locking feature when open for safety. Be careful as this knife is very sharp. I like this knife so much I may buy a few more.

Bought it to keep in a car for food. This is the mother of all knives. It has a sharp serrated edge and stores safely. It might seem a tad expensive compared to Chinese stuff, but go wild and buy it.
