Excellent starter paddles!
I do not have any formal swim training, but after herniating a disc in my lower back, I took up swimming to rehab my back, strengthen my core, and for general stress relief.I took four half hour lessons at the tender age of 51. And I'm sort of addicted to all the fun things to keep the swim interesting as I swim laps for an hour five to six times a week. These fit perfectly in my palm and are easy to control. I've only had them a few weeks and I use them about 20 minutes or so each swim.Every friend who has tried them, wants a pair. I'm seriously considering giving some for Christmas. I like them that much. They will improve your stroke and form, work your upper body and oh happiness, isolate your triceps and work them like nothing else you've tried. Affordable and fun. Only negative might be how long the finger and wrist loops/bands are going to last. Will keep this review updated.

They work but need a redesign for attaching to the hands
The silicone/rubber straps that hold these onto your hands are a bit uncomfortable when tight. If you loosen the entire thing becomes a bit floppy when using in the water/swimming motions. You can get used to them but the design could be better for attaching to hands. They do work well once you're used to them and you can get a low-level arms & chest workout using them.

Perfect for swim training.
I bought one for my daily swim training and another for my daughter's competitive swimming. We both love our hand paddles. It fits perfectly, easy to use and help to improve hand entry position.

Needed
I am a 40 plus just trying to learn to swim…was told by a person that swims and teaches to grab a pair, it would help. It definitely helped with technique, they are comfortable, being plastic attached to hands. The size runs true
