Boots are comfy straight from the box. The y are very warm. I like the lace system as there are no lace destroying metal hooks. i have had these boots 2 weeks and have walked over 100miles with dog on a variety of surfaces. the boots coped well with mud, stone and sandy forest trails. i have waded through a stream in gators and been out in wet grass and pouring rain and my feet have remained dry. The soles seem hard wearing and the boots show no signs of coming apart. I would be happy to wear these boots in mountainous areas. For the price these are excellent boots i am very pleased with my purchase.

Good looking boot with a comfortable fit. Only issue I have is that the grips are not that big and it remains to be seen how long before the grips and soles wear out. But then i do walk a lot of miles a week!

These were all ok for about 2months after started leaking water. I only ever used them to take my dog for a walk in a wet field

Non-animal product based construction. 4 star rating as the fit is narrower than expected and I struggle to get my feet in. However, once on the boots are comfortable and give good support. Have been for some long(ish) walks with no problems (or blisters).
