So for reference, I am a 5’3, square shouldered, not twig skinny but not chubby either, woman of “average” build you could say! I got this because all of the other costume capes made for adults just lacked that certain, fairytale✨*whimsy*✨🪄 factor I was looking for in my renaissance faire fit I’m putting together. Too bleak in color, dark, muddy blues and blacks, yucky. Overly mature and edgy, for my tastes and purposes at least. When did bright pink and blue go out of style for us? I didn’t know turning 18 made us all allergic to cutesy pastels suddenly! All so drab, so dull and flavorless— But this little number?… Oh this is a beaut! I was worried and all, you know, buying an item obviously catered for children’s bodies, but luckily I was born on the more petite side, so it works for me! It fits GREAT, feels great, and the color is exactly like in the photos, a beautiful, Cinderella-esque baby blue with such magnificient sheen thanks to the material used when crafting it. Mine came vacuum sealed for added protection while shipping, and the seller even reached out to send me a message telling me how to fluff it up once opened with care instructions. Talk about the extra mile! I bought the pink one as well, since it was on sale for a steal of $6! So I have both, and they’re both equally wonderful. As for the item’s functional use as a cloak, when tied around my neck, the cape never came loose even while I bopped and skipped around outside to test it’s durability! So I would say that passes the test. The ruffle frills are the icing on the cake for me, and this piece is going to do WONDERS for my pink faun faerie outfit! The touch is velvety and smooth to stroke, and feels warm when outside in the cold. Also warms the heart, too, not just the skin. 🩷🩷🩷This is my message to anyone outside of the age range of this product, you have my green light to give it a go! It’d be a great touch to say, a Little Bo Peep cosplay, a girly easter ensemble, or even a normal wardrobe addition to give your outfits a pop of color and flare if you have the confidence for that! Absolutely adore these cloaks, can’t recommend them more! Five stars babyy, rock on guys, gals, and non binary pals!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Editor’s Note: Update! Still love these :) they’ve held up great over time, but I realized I didn’t really mention much about the fit. As said earlier, I’m 5’3, about 155cm and these bad boys come decently past my knees, but not long enough to drag on the floor or go past my ankles. They’ve got good coverage to be worn as a full cloak! If you’re interested in these but are shorter than me/ would like something less long, you can always take a pair of scissors to it and cut it to your preferred length or dump it off on a friend or local grandma who knows how to sew. If you’re taller or have wider shoulders (or both) it’ll probably come to your waist or thighs a bit since again, children are the target wearers and kiddos tend to be on the itsy bitsy teeny tiny side of the body spectrum so that’s something to consider. I can’t speak highly enough how much I have loved wearing these to all sorts of costume events since purchasing, and everyone else loves how bright they are and appreciates the whimsy ALMOST as much as I do :D still a 10/10!

Wonderful flow of fabric for 8 year old girly girl. My 8 year old was do pretty in this parade. Worthy costume. The accessories that came with it were nicely made. The tiffany blue color! The fit is true to size. It’s king too. The stylish button on cape was very well attached by button on and off possibilities. I compared a lot and this is great value! The costume is easy on or off.

I bought this as a gift for my niece who is 8 because she was sad that she was too big for all the usual dress up clothes. This fits her perfectly and she is super happy!

The material is good and sturdy looks so cute on my daughter she loves it.

Beautiful long cape that I ordered for my daughter to wear in the cold Spring weather we are having in Brooklyn. She broke her elbow so she has a full cast. Only reason I didn’t give it all stars was because the velvety tie fixture keeps coming undone when she runs around in it. I’m thinking of buying a safety pin to make sure it stays closed.

Beautiful cape, fits well for toddlers and well made. The material is soft like velvet on 1 side and silky on the other side. For the price it’s well made and worth it.
