Review: Great shoes good price, right fit, no breaking in required. - Love these shoes, perfect fit. They are a month old and I am a mechanic. They are comfortable, seem to be stain resistant to a point. No breaking in needed, just started wearing them with no problem. Considering how many miles I out on these shoes they seem like they are gonna hold up really well.
Review: Comfortable, good sizing, I'm not sure how durable recently manufactured shoe are. - To be clear, I purchased my shoes 4-6 years ago. I don't wear them daily, but on the weekends I do rehab construction and work on my homestead. My two pares have been great. I need the wide shoe for my wide feet, which can be tough to find in a standard tennis shoe. I really like the comfort of the shoes too. Sometimes I'll wear mime when just going out. Many of the cheap shoes use poor quality glue, be it cheap, water clean up, less VOCs, I don't know for sure. My older pair have done well I'm moisture, not coming apart like so many of my tennis shoes. I don't know how much sketchers has cheapened the shoes in the last 4 years. Online reviews suggest many manufacturers are cheapening their products leading to premature failure.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Slippery when wet!
*by M***Y on July 24, 2026*

I've had these 2 weeks now and for the most part they are pretty comfortable to wear all day. I'm not sure of the memory foam insole holding up for a long period of time. It seems to move around more than I'd like already. Also, they say these do well traction wise, and the first time I set foot on a wet floor I went all Bambi on ice in them but was able to catch myself before I fell. I have since walked on damp floors with care because I can feel them ready to let go of traction with 1 wrong misstep. I bought the wide size because all of the other Sketchers I have needed to be wide, but these feel like I could have gotten a normal width and they would have been fine. After 2 weeks of 8+ hour days on my feet in them they still look brand new. Other than the issues I already mentioned they seem pretty good, but time will tell how well they hold up.
