Super thin material with strings hanging off of several of the stitches.
I was hoping to use this for playing shows in my band, but once I opened it I felt like I was going to rip it by just putting it on. The material was super thin and when I inspected it I found several loose threads hanging from it, so I shipped it back immediately. I upsized two sizes as recommended, but felt that a single size above would have been sufficient if I didn't have to worry about tearing it apart. I don't see how it would handle a single wash cycle, even by hand.

Looks great and Very comfortable
After ordering this shirt I am glad to say it s well worth it. The cloth is soft and comfortable and it is very durable. I will say I would probably get a size bigger then your usually size and it was tight around the mid drift but it looked great and was great for a Renaissance Fair!

extremely tight and disturbingly sheer
Be advised that the sizes are smaller than what you might expect and that the fabric is completely see thru, which is not something that I would expect from a men’s shirt. Not wearable in my experience.

This is a great linen shirt!
This is my first shirt from this listing and my second linen shirt overall. I purchased the long sleeved khaki color shirt in size Small. The fit is very loose, as expected for a linen shirt; if it was a slim fit, you wouldn't be able to put it on because the fabric doesn't stretch. If you want a "slim fit", you'll need to use a waist belt or sash to pull the shirt together, which is quite appropriate for this style of shirt. My chest size is 37" and the true full chest size of this linen shirt is 40", so the extra 3" provides sufficient room to be able to put on the shirt. The size chart is inaccurate and the seller does mention to buy one size up. According to my measurement, the true chest size of the shirt is ~3" smaller than the size chart. The design and quality of the shirt is very good. I like the threaded accents and the sun wheel and I also like the small splits at the bottom of the side seam. I thought it was interesting that it also comes with straps under the sleeves to hold the sleeves when you cuff them up. The only thing that I don't like is the shoe lace string that is used—it just doesn't look ethnic. However, it is removable, so I'll be using something else for the lace.I like that they offer these shirts without the sun wheel, as well, but not in size Small, though. However, I may try out the Medium size. The long sleeve shirt pictures are a little inaccurate. The colors are heavily saturated and the lace is different. The color, lace, and also the threading around the bottom will be more like the pictures of the short sleeve shirts.

Nice shirt but thin
Shirt seems to be nice but it’s also on the thin side. The initial photo on Amazon is a bit deceiving and seems to make the shirt look thicker than it actually is.To be fair, it is listed as a linen shirt, so one should likely know that it is thin. Because it is thin, it should be comfortable and warmer weather.Fit seems to run true to size. 5’7”, 210 pounds, 44” chest and the XXL is a little large, and slightly long in the arms. Possibly could have got a way with an XL size.

I highly recommend this product.
This long sleeve shirt is surprisingly lightweight is made of great material and fits perfectly. The thickness is just right and the material is breathable to where you won't get too hot but you also won't get too cold either. The slaves were at a perfect length and you can fold them and they will not be too bunky.I love the medieval design. It makes for a perfect Viking shirt for Halloween costume which I am going to use it for.It also would make a great shirt just to wear around town during the Autumn or winter times or going out clubbing with your friends.I am going to use this for a Viking costume I am making and when I get it all together I'm going to post a picture of it here.

Good for low-frequency wear
Design is nice, though the medium and large both make me feel unwanted resistance reaching upwards - I think perhaps not enough slack in the shoulders/upper arms. The fabric weight is... disappointing. Most shirts these days are 8 oz per yard or less and still yet called “medium” or “heavy” weight, and this is definitely and sadly as light as a feather. Lighter fabric indicates that the individual threads are smaller in diameter, meaning they’re weaker and therefore more prone to breaking. This is also a blend of cotton and linen, meaning wherever the cotton is presents another unfortunate point of likely failure. To have been 100% linen would have been best for this design to succeed. The weave also appears less dense than one may expect, further lending to the extra lightweight and cheap feel of the garment.I got it to try as I won’t have time till winter to make my own shirts again, and was hoping for a useful prefabficated piece. Looks nice, feels surprisingly comfortable for a cheap cotton blend, but I know from experience with this same fabric that if I wear it for any purpose beyond when I’m turning in at night, it will fail miserably. If that’s what you’re looking for, and the design appeals to you, go for it.

Comfort with a bit of viking flair
I like this viking style tunic. It is comfortable and gets more so with each washing. Size was perfect though it did shrink a bit (as expected) after the 1st wash & dry. I ordered two and will probably get more.

3XL large size is very small
I normally buy a 2XL. So, to be on the safe side I ordered a 3XL. Even the 3XL was too small. It's more like a medium. Don't trust the sizing from this company.

Not like the picture
Ordered for my husband, foolishly did not read reviews so I ordered the size he normally wears, xl. It didn't make it over his shoulders. When it arrived all the seams and the embroidered medallion at the neck were embroidered with gold on a black shirt...not the black on black in the picture. The information clearly states this should be a cotton/linen shirt, but the tag in the shirt shows it is cotton/polyester. It doesn't have the same sheen as in the picture. I'm very disappointed. I gave it to my son who wears a med-large. It fit him fine. I won't be ordering it again.

Sizing improved a bit
I bought a blue one last year, and another this year. Both 4XL.The shirt this year is larger. Fits much better - more like a relaxed fit 2XL. The one last year was a bit tight even when new. The Blue is darker as well in the new shirt this year. (I compared with pictures from 2022 to see how much a few washes faded - wasn’t that much of a fade in last years shirt)
