So I thought that paying £17 for seasoning was a bit much, however, for the large amount you get and the fact that this really does taste blumming good I think it's worth it. This really does taste amazing when sprinkled over a plain buttered jacket potato, no need for anything else as makes it taste like sour cream with chives :) I also add a small amount to mayo which gives a chive taste to it, overall I can see why so many people talk about it being one of the best ranch flavours. Best before date was over 1 1/2 years so great date as well, would definitely recommend and not really salty as some have said I think it's just right.

makes great ranch dressing and there is so much it will last me a very long time

Although delicious this product is expensive for essentially a powder flavouring. I have used it to make dressings and dips and it has a really strong flavour but delicious none the less. I have used with natural yoghurt, sour cream and light mayo and they have all turned out delicious.

Amazing with soured cream and a teaspoon of this bit don’t over do it as it can taste to salty but other than that is brilliant

I've been away from the US for so long that I'm now even spelling words like 'flavour' like my adoptive country. Sigh. At any rate, this large amount of ranch powdered flavouring lasts a really long time, even if you and your family are huge ranch fans, like mine is. I think our first jar lasted eight months, and we made a double-batch of ranch dip at least once a week for most of that time. If you're one of those people who desperately misses that distinctive and life-affirming ranch flavour, or if you're one of those courageous cooks who is always willing to try new flavours, this product will change your life. It's true that it's not nearly as cheap as it would be at home in the US, but I honestly think that the price is appropriate for the sheer amount of the product that you receive. Coronavirus got you down? Mix this stuff up with some sour cream, and at least some of your dreams will come true! It can be used as a dip not just for crisps (gasp! I meant CHIPS!), but also for raw vegetables, my favourites being broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, bell pepper, celery and tomatoes. Needless to say, it's perfect on salads, and even if you're on a diet, just one spoonful of this gorgeous concoction can turn a simple, boring salad into a party in your mouth. There are also numerous recipes for cooking with the ranch powder itself to season meat and fish; these are definitely worth checking out! I can also attest, from personal experience, that using one of these recipes to flavour chicken is an effective way of impressing your British in-laws. This stuff goes on absolutely everything in our house! Roast potatoes, mash, sauces, salads, meats, you name it and Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning makes it better. The flavour is brilliant and once you start using it you will wonder how you ever managed without it. The tub is a good size and lasts a really long time even with heavy use, which helps justify the price. It is a little on the pricey side but given how long it lasts and how versatile it is, it is absolutely worth it. Have bought it several times now and it is a permanent fixture in our kitchen. Would highly recommend . Will definitely keep buying.

Good quality and flavor

Not sure why but the taste I get from this versus small packs of Ranch mix is just not the same. At this cost it really it not worth it in my opinon. Buy single packs and get the taste you expect.
