My girls loved this book. They couldn’t stop listening to it.

This is a great book. There are lessons plans available on the internet. I am modifying an activity on the underground railroad to match their journey for my 8-10 year olds

I read this book for a class assignment with 5th grade book buddies. I was amazed how much my "buddy" got out of this book. It is well written and puts the reader in the position of the main character. Was impressed enough with the book that I'm having my 10 year old daughter read it this summer.

The book came in quickly and was in great shape. Absolutely love this story. My 6th grade class enjoyed the audible version a lot.

My incoming 5th grader was assigned this book which teaches the horrors of slavery in a way that kids can relate to. The characters are realistic and appeal to the middle school student.

VERY GOOD BOOK SON HAD TO READ IT FOR SCHOOL AND HE DID AND ENJOYED IT SO MUCH HE READ IT 2 TIMES

I like paying 1/2 or less at Amazon than the bookstore for new books! (the bookkstore used are 2X as much!)

Great book for kids to learn about history from.
