Rebar cutter cuts rebar. Can't be too much happier with a tool that does what it's supposed to. I have some upcoming projects that this will be used for. Tried it out on a bunch of stuff and it cut it all with no problems whatsoever. If it fits in there, it's getting cut. Rugged tool that side what it's supposed to for short money. This is the third product I've bought from Anbull. Really happy with their products and their customer service. (Not on this, but on a different product) Really like that it came with a metal case, not much still comes with a metal case. Nice spring loaded clips also.

I am not a full-time or even semi-frequent concrete installer. However I do have some experience with different types of rebar cutting from angle grinding, to the big $$$ bender/cutter units. I purchased this mid-range cutter to keep a small project on schedule. For its price point this is a great cutter. Smaller than I expected, this humble looking unit comes well packed in a metal case with foam inserts. I love whoever designed this as everything fits- even the extra cutter heads I bought just in case. I was able to make all the cuts I needed very quickly with none of the fire-hazard and other safety concerns associated with grinding metal. I cut #4 bar- 1/2 rebar. The action was smooth and those extra cutter heads remain to be used. Very happy with it so far and would recommend to anyone who needs a moderately priced cutter.

We've been using this on the job site for about a year. We normally set it up on a 4x8 workbench, but it is possible to cut rebar 'in place' if you have the room. It's just an armful to hang on to. We cut #3-#5 Grade 60 rebar with it and am still on the first set of blades.We did have a problem with it taking a lot of trigger clicks and time to make a cut after about 11 months of use. The seller helped us with some ideas. What worked was to hold the trigger on for over 60 seconds while not cutting any rebar. Not sure exactly what that did, but my guess was it somehow bled out air from the hydraulics allowing it to function normally.In all we're happy with it and glad we bought it. Sure beats cutting rebar with torches, grinders., or cut-off saws; or for that fact manually!

Just did a lot of #4 and #5 rebar. Works great. If the hydraulics seem slow just loosen the top fill plug to purge some air.

It's been good so far. Replacement for another made in china special. What I have realized is I'm too old to bend and cut with manual bender. This and a bender saved me alot of time and sore muscles.

I JUST BOUGHT THIS AFTER CUTTING REBAR WITH A HAND CUTTER FOR THE LAST 30 YEARS.......IT CUTS FAST!THE BEST PART THAT I NEVER THOUGHT OF WAS THE FACT THAT I CAN LAYOUT ALL THE REBAR AND CUT IT IN PLACE...WHAT A HUGE TIME SAVER. IF YOU DO A LOT OF FLAT WORK THEN YOU SHOULD BUY THIS NOW!!! IT WILL PAY YOU BACK IN JOB SITE TIME SAVED.

It leaks fluid out of cylinder and quits working. I refilled it and it all leaked out again as I was using it. I don’t recommend this product.
