Champro Optimus MVP Chest Protector

My 11 year old son outgrew his Rawlings Catcher's Gear, so it was time to upgrade. We mixed/matched his gear because he is between sizes right now. From the bottom of this neck, to his belly button is 15 inches. He is also lean. But this chest protector fits him well when cinched-down, with room for him to grow. In his catching lessons, he has to do blocking drills that require him to let the ball hit him in the torso after it bounces up from the ground. This is down with a pitching machine, and he says that he feels the impact, but that it doesn't hurt. The design is perfect for him, is high-quality, and provides ample protection. Well worth the purchase!

This chest protector looks great and fit my son, who is 7 and about to turn 8, really well. It has a good fit right now with some room to grow into it, which is exactly what I was hoping for. He loves wearing it and feels comfortable in it during use. The overall build looks solid and it has a clean, professional look to it. The only thing I would change is the color options. I wish they offered some more of the trendier colors that kids are into right now. Overall, great fit, good quality, and a solid choice for youth players.

Fits my 10yo great, there’s adequate padding. I like how it has the crotch protection and the shoulder protection.

Well made and it’s nice it has a groin and shoulder protector pads. It also wraps around the chest nicely.

Thinner than i expected. I got my son a padded shirt to wear underneath too. Build quality is good enough. We're 4 games and several practices in at this point. Kinda wish I'd of got a thicker one, but its still good enough to work

Came loose in a box with price tag but without the groin protector. If this was returned, it should have been checked to make sure all 3 of the velcro removable parts were present and placed in a sealed bag. If these products are just stored loose in a bin, more attention should be placed on, ensuring all the parts go into a box before shipping. Very disappointed!
